has been completely renovated... five years ago... http:// (Flash player update may be required.)

And I started a blog! Head on over to Hold Your Shoe!

Old Links:

Index of Spirit of Fear Chapters w/ some artwork: http:///spirit_of_fear.htm. (updating is quite a procedure, so most chapters are not listed on the page)

Video News

All the videos on the newly redesigned home page are recent releases! Okay, "recent" is a bit of a stretch since I wrote this, but watch them anyway.

In Fate's Hands
Twilight Princess, a music video

Watch them. Enjoy. Tell your friends. (Seriously, I need the web traffic!)

Not much to say about me.

First off, I'm very political. Fortunately, I manage to keep real world politics out of my writing.

Outside politics, I'm a single, pasty white 28 year old with a BFA in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production, who enjoys good beer, sweet wine, spiced rum, Irish and Scotch whiskeys, and watching movies in mostly empty theaters.

I'm sorry, but I have to get this off my chest. DON'T CLAP AT THE END OF THE MOVIE!! Seriously, who are you clapping for? The people on the screen can't hear you! And the projectionist certainly doesn't need your condescending praise. All he did was press a button! (I should know, I've worked as one before.)

Where was I? Oh yes.

At 6 foot 4 and quite slim, it's hard for me to buy pants. Is it so inconceivable that a person can be taller than they are wide? And people hate it when I drive their cars, and I hate when people borrow mine, as seat positions are always changed. It takes me weeks to get my seat back where it was. Advice: don't sit behind the driver's seat when I'm driving if you value your legroom.

So far as gaming, I like simulation racing games, the old Descent series, Legend of Zelda, Battlefield, Infinity Ward's Call of Duty, and the Orange Box. Titalfall has seen some action, but overall I don't get to game much lately.

When the TV is on, I'm either playing XBox, or I'm watching Top Gear, Arrested Development, Doctor Who (David Tennant! OK, Matt Smith is good, too. Peter Capaldi is doing fairly well so far...), Suits, Law and Order SVU, Psych, Frasier, or American Horror Story. I think that's about it... Oh yeah! Redskins Football and Formula 1 Racing!

I like music. My likes are far too ecclectic to fully list, but suffice it to say I lean towards alternative, while branching out a bit into classical, blues, hip hop, and a (small) touch of country. Nothing like playing Eminem, then following up with the Blues Brothers, and finishing up with Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries.

I'm a graduate from the Art Institute of Washington with a BFA in film and video. My Vimeo page is here, my personal website is , and my blog, which I update weekly or so (if that), is .

I signed up here with the intent to only post one story; Spirit of Fear. After two years of cooking in my head, I finally started writing it down. I know it seems odd to only have one project, as many users in this community have several, but Spirit of Fear is very ambitious, so it makes up for it. Bouncing around the void of my mind, however, are ideas for Metroid and Legend of Zelda fanfics, as well as a Slayers (remember that show?) fic that's still in its infancy. "The Council Guardsman" (a Zoids fanfic) is going up, but mostly as a study piece. All input on that work is more than welcome.

I don't have a lot of time to myself, and when I do I'm either working on Spirit of Fear, updating the blog or looking for a (better) job, so chances are I won't read many stories while I'm here. I'm mostly just using this website as a venue (not to mention poor man's copyright) for my stories and an outlet for my art.

Like I said, not much to say about me, except for the stuff I already said. Enjoy the writing! I may be a tough read (my vocabulary may be a bit much for younger readers), but I believe in early exposure to big words.

Special thanks:

On April 19, 2015, I the final chapter in part 1 of my ambitious project, Spirit of Fear. The following day, it garnered a record (for me) 1,140 hits with 143 unique visitors in a single day. My email blew up with all the notifications of reviews, new followers and new favorites, and I had to turn my phone off at work, it kept distracting me with new emails. Later I looked at the old story stats page and saw this story was just shy of 100,000 hits.

Getting that far took me over seven years, longer than many of the current readers have been visiting this site. Looking back on old chapters, I see the mistakes I made as a novice writer who just wanted to make a fun story about a cool guy. Now I'm struggling a bit to tell a better, more cohesive story of character development while working within the constraints given to me by my younger self.

And seeing all that traffic in one day has made it all worth the struggle. Thanks for reading, everyone!
