Author has written 2 stories for Ouran High School Host Club, and Harry Potter. I am Raven'd Fleet. I love Classical Literature and allusions to it. I enjoy reading myths and fairytales and aspire to be an architect, or perhaps a teacher. Some of my favorite authors are: David Eddings; Jennifer Roberson, James Clavells, Erskine Caldwell, J. K. Rowling, J. R. R. Tolkein, and others who shall not fill my entire page. A few very good books are: Lady of the Forest, ShoGun, Harry Potter (the whole series), Lord of the Rings (is very well developed and thought out, but not very thrilling), Belgariad (the whole series borders on otherworldly. It is an amazing read, though very long!), and others, who once more I shall ignore in hopes to not bore the reader. Anime. I do enjoy the occasional anime. I find myself drawn to the Japanese culture as well as the Chinese and Indian. Manga seem so short though! A few of my favorites are Sailor Moon, InuYasha, Fushigi Yuugi, and Alice 19th. Recently, I have discovered a new, hilarious anime: Ouran High School Host Club. Brilliant. Fruits Basket is very good as well, if you like the Chinese zodiac as well as people the same age, apparently born in different years. Shows/Movies. I don't much care for TV, but when I do watch it, something good is usually why I'm there. The Bad Seed, 13th Warrior... Well enough of that, onto the fan-fictions! Rocking the Cradle: An Ouran Drabble with Kyouya/Haruhi pairing. I had just read Drop Dead Gorgeous, and felt inspired. I like how poignant my ending is, there is little sadness in his tone, but a cold realism as he lets go of a girl he may just love. Kyouya is one of my favorite characters because of his personality, though I think the twins are much better. His buisness attitude sets him apart from the other dreamers in the Host club. But anyways, if you want something short, that's the one! Delusional: A Harry Potter/Lord of the Rings Crossover, inspired once more by another fanfic, this time called The Black Wizard. It's a somewhat tragic story of how Harry arrives in a world, though he's not sure how, and must fight his way to peace. It's a fairly short chaptered story and I tried to make Harry seem as human as possible. I hope you like it, I enjoyed writing it and took a lot from the J. R. R. Tolkein's book, The Fellowship of the Ring. Enjoy! No, there will not be a sequel, blast it! But I've got a treat, don't you wonder what happened when Gandalf returned? Well here's a little piece, enjoy: I don't know how many were reading Exoneration, but I've had enough. I've tried and tried to continue it, but I give up. It's a horrible story, it lacks depth and characterization, and I'm sorry I put it up in the first place. If you like the story-line, rewrite it yourself. |
