Um...Hi! -blush- I'm DG, and if you haven't already noticed, I don't have any fanfiction! What's up with that? Well, the truth is, I'm beta-reader for Sarehptar's Kingdom Hearts II fanfiction, The Violet Room. In other words, I don't write my my own fanfiction, though, I might someday... (I've been working on an original story since the dawn of time...) Sareh and I met randomly online. Though, in real life, we live a million light-years away from each other. (I live on a green, fungus-like, humid planet, and I think that Sareh may be living on Mars, but I'm not entirely certain...) I'm a (straight) female, and I was born on October 9th, of 1986--My life is over!! (I'm so old...) I currently have this super awesome job--it's a government job...but don't be fooled!! I don't have the luxury of working in an office. In fact, I'm practically working outside... Unfortunately, getting the job involved me moving out of my parent's house, which normally is a joyous thing, unless you're like me and have nothing except a computer, a tinsy winsy tv, and a PS2. (Seriously, my TV currently sits on top of a cardboard box, and I have to sit on the floor when I want to watch it...) Moving on...in my free time, I really like collecting rocks... I also enjoy manga. I prefer the fantasy genre more than anything. I just finished Death Note, and now I'm anxiously awaiting the next volume of Loveless. I'm also an avid reader of -gasp- Naruto... (I'm also waiting for the next volume of Dragon Knights!) Recently, I purchased my first yaoi... (The Crimson Spell by Ayano Yamane) I watch some anime, but, it's usually stuff I buy online. My favorite series is Fullmetal Alchemist, though Inuyasha was my first love. I adore Miyazaki, but I'm not a fan of all his movies... I like Harry Potter, but not as much as I used to. I'm still excited for the seventh book...XD I've read the entire Lord of The Rings, The Hobbit, The Silmarillion, and a few of J.R.R. Tolkien's lesser known works. (I cried when I read, "Of Beren and Luthien"--It takes a lot for me to cry when reading...) As far as having a favorite author goes, I'm not sure that I have one. I want to say it's Tolkien, but... |
