I apologize if a fic you were reading has disappeared. It means that:

a) I lost interest in it and didn't plan on updating it within the foreseeable future (i.e. ever) so I removed it because I think if you're going to be bad and start something you don't plan on finishing you should at least hide the evidence of said transgression

b) I finished it and then subsequently removed it from my account because unless I really like a story (or it generally seems loved by the mass populace) I will delete it when it is no longer attracting new readers.

Something to know about me...

I am an eternal sucker for secret identity mishaps, I know something they don't know set-ups, couples who are perfectly imperfect for each other, vampires, and platonic couples who would die for each but will not admit they love each other.

That's all, I turned evil and went to hell when I slept with my girlfriend." Nick - "My sire staked me after I drank the blood of my only chance for salvation." Edward - "Dude I got her pregnant!" And maybe Bill Compton walking past them with a "I thought my life sucked" poster.

An How I Met Your Mother one shot of Barney Stinson trying to pick up woman by telling them he is a child prodigy who was able to amass large sums of money by practising medicine while living at home with his parents. Bonus points if you make Doogie a gynecologist.
