Author has written 13 stories for Inuyasha, and Samurai Champloo. Who I am: Your typical anime fan. Why I write: Why wouldn't I? An answer minus sarcasm: I write because I have innumerable stories within me and I need a venue to tell them. What I write: Atypical fan fiction dealing with plot points and pairings I feel need more attention. When I update: When I have time and energy to write, I update. I am not doing this for anyone but me. Feel free to respond and review... Or not. I've read SO MUCH fan fiction since joining this site and I think I've reviewed... Maybe ten times? Maybe? Don't stress if you don't have time to write me something. My ego does not need stroking. Will I be a beta? No. Between my career and my personal life, I have NO TIME. If I had more time, I'd update more often. If you want me to read something you've written or posted, I will, and will post my feedback. Don't ask me if you don't want an honest response. Why did I start writing? Because I love to tell stories. I have been writing since I was seven. I started writing fanfiction as a form of therapy and a way to break through my writer's block. I still write fanfiction for the same reasons. Who are my favorite fanfiction authors and stories? Look at my favorites lists. I wouldn't have built up the lists if those stories/authors weren't exceptional. I don't read drabble and I don't like porn, so if you don't enjoy purely beautiful writing with only the slightest hint of sexual content, you won't agree with anything on my list. I leave you now to read if you wish. Enjoy the literary offspring of my mind. -M Saying Goodbye Over the last few months, I've broken through a rather substantial case of writer's block... Again with the help of this genre. If you've been reading my work, if you know me at all from A.Single.Spark, you know there are still stories I started there I've never been able to finish... Until now. It began with "Roll of the Dice" and now I am working on "Butterfly Kisses"... And I'm nearly well over a hundred thousand words into it with no end in sight. So... How is this saying goodbye, you might ask? My goal is to finish ALL the unfinished work... To gently put to bed all of my beloved tales the way I always intended before I begin work on my original novel. It is my gift to all of the readers who still remember and love my stories. You deserve to know how all of them end... Even the ones you didn't even know existed. If all goes according to plan, by the turn of 2016, I will be finished with EVERYTHING and will begin work on what I hope will become a full time calling. We'll see. If not, to write is still one of the keenest pleasures I've ever known. The lack of publication certainly won't deter me from its pursuit. And so... With that... I hope you enjoy my finale. When "Butterfly Kisses" has finished, I'll be moving on to the epilogue series of short stories connected with "Kaidan" and then the sort sequel to "To Know the Man". The last story I will complete is "Chimera" as I feel it should be... My dream beast and perhaps the story most surely to be my best work in the genre. Thank you for reading. Thank you for the encouragement... And wish me luck. -M |
