I love Pokémon! The concept of having mythical creatures that can breathe fire, manipulate time and space, and live in different dimensions from our own is fascinating. There are so many ways to interpret the world of Pokemon and really make it a world all your own. It's why I love writing in the context of the Pokemon world since it allows me to explore writing with fantasy elements as well as more sci-fi ones. I've also loved the games ever since I was a kid and while I enjoy the anime, I personally prefer the games. I've never read the adventure manga so don't ask me about it.

I LOVE fanfiction and I adore reading people's stories which range from Pokemon (especially ones that revolve around the Black/White games since they're my favorite!) to Harry Potter. I also love writing fanfiction, but one of the reasons I write it is to improve my own writing technique and storytelling. If you want to read my stories, I love reviews and constructive criticism. I don't like flames since they're only meant to tear down and not actually build up the author or the story. If you just want to say you like my story well... I'm never going to turn that down!! If you review my work and want me to review yours, I'm more than happy to oblige! I'll probablly just praise your work and point out what I like, but if you want me to actually read and give critique, you'll have to specifically ask that.

My Stories:

A note I should make is that I love being very flexible in my world and my characters so I may sometimes make them very OOC compared to what's mostly seen in the games just because I enjoy the ability of creating my own character arc for them. I also love working in AUs since that gives me the maximum play when creating a storyline. This primarily applies to Pokemon Whisperer and Whispers in the Shadow.

These two stories center around the idea that there are people in the Pokemon World that have power to control the actions of Pokemon through eye contact and emotion. In this AU, the villains are competent and extremely dangerous. Team Plasma is a respected organization recognized by the government and are generally accepted by Unovans. In the sequal they're full terrorists. The League plays a bigger role and there's a lot more mythology involved. N's also ooc since he wasn't raised in isolation and was instead raised to be able to face any criticism Team Plasma might face, and he's well... very different from the games since I gave him a very unusual background. If you want to know more, you'll just have to read it for yourself :)

My one-shots are more for kicks and giggles that are meant to explore fun or interesting parts of the games.

Favorite Shippings:

My OTP: N x White/Touko!! I know ferriswheelshipping gets some hate since pairing them up during game can seem strange, but guys... it's fanfiction. We can write added conversation and scenes that make it work. I really love these two together and can't get enough of this pairing! I won't lie, part of the reason I wrote fanfiction was so that I could see these two get together.

Favorite Pokémon:

Too many! My favorite Pokémon when I first played the game was Shinx, whom I named Nightstar. I also love Vulpix, Fennekin, Zorua, Articuna. However, I think my all time favorite Pokémon is dragonair (my username is literally a combination of "imagine" and "dragonair")

Favorite Evil Team:

Team Rocket! I personally think any of the evil teams can be great if you just make them really smart and just... terrifying. When I read a story, I love not only hating a villain, but being afraid they're going to actually win!! I love a good villain since they usually are what make a plot compelling.

Favorite Fanfiction Stories!!:

I always have to recognize very talented fanfiction writers since they work really hard on their stories. I respect all fanfiction writers who put a lot of effort into their writing skills, plotline, and characters. It's not easy being a fanfiction writer since no one necessarily recognizes you and you get those friends who laugh at you when they hear you write fanfiction. Well here's some appreciation from me: You're awesome!!

The Iron Knight: A Pokemon Diamond Nuzlocke by maycontestdrew. This is set in the middle ages when there are knights and gladiators. I don't want to give too much away, but this is an awesome story!! It can be a little dark and graphic, but I don't think it's too bad. Not to mention the dozens of secrets scattered throughout the story and every chapter is entertaining. I totally recommend it!!

Alphabet Soup by CoffeeIncluded: This is a story written by a long since dead (dead to fanfiction) author set in the Black/White gave which follows Bree, Cheren, and Bianca on a journey through the Unova Region. This is a great fanfiction and it's complete! It really inspired me to write fanfiction myself. It's fairly dark, but it has such compelling characters and story!

Pokemon Retold: Black by MakeGalarGreatUndeadProwess. This story takes a different angle on what it means to be a hero as is epitomized by the main character Hil Whitacre. It goes through the Black games but it expounds on the characters given, has great insight into human nature and behavior, and has several twists that help make the game story really come alive. It has dark themes revolving suicide and anxiety which can at times be difficult to read, but the story overall is quite heartwarming.

I've read a lot of great stories, but these ones I feel completely confident recommending since I know they're high quality and they write really good characters.

Other favorite nerdy things:

I'm also a fan of The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, the Avengers, Ender's Game, and English literature in general. If you love Emerson and transcendentalism, I totally get you. If you are one that loves the witty commentary in Jane Austen or like Wordsworth, Shakespeare, Bradbury, or get down to reading personal essays, I also understand. All literature is great!
