I am a recently divorced single mother. As such, I finally have the freedom to dream and let my creativity flow. I have always wanted to write, but never felt the confidence I needed to push forward. Add in a suffocating relationship for a few decades and I suppressed all of my wants.

I have to thank my children for dragging me kicking and screaming into the beautiful world of anime. They refused to let up and through them I found wonderful realms to get my creative juices flowing again. I dove in feet first and couldn't let go of such beautiful, colorful, and deep characters which brought me to fanfiction.net and AO3. I've been lurking and reading for more than a year now, and writing on the side just to let it out of my head if nothing else. Somehow, I finally found the courage to join the community and will be posting reviews and eventually my stories.

I have to give a shout-out to DESNA who was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back to push me to actually do something instead of just thinking about it. Her amazing Pradesh family for the Fairy Tail universe was an immense inspiration.

So, in a nutshell... try to be kind. I'm new to this. I also haven't the time to read the manga and I am mostly relegated to the anime on TV. As such I might mix up some time lines, but I will do my best to be accurate enough.

Here's hoping I can get some positive feedback and improve my writing and maybe even actually publish something someday.

Update 4/3/19 - First few postings and I'm super excited about the feedback so far! I can't promise to update regularly but will try to post a new chapter per week or two for Finding Home. As a single mom with teenagers and a very busy full time job, life tends to get in the way.
