Hello :)

Not sure how many people read this stuff, but hey. I might as well. I'm Cori. I'm a journalism major at Stephen F. Austin University. I love sci-fi, fantasy stuff. I have been writing short stories basically since I learned to read. I've written fanfiction for Wicked (musical), Spring Awakening (musical), House M.D., Harry Potter, Lord of The Rings, and Ironman.

I'm a Christian, and when I say that, I don't mean that I label myself as such only because I believe in God. Jesus is the Lord of my life, and I walk with Him daily. I am extremely open to hearing about other religions, and your thoughts on the subject. So if you ever want to PM me, I'd love to have a conversation! I like to keep my writing somewhat separate from my religion. However, in some ways my writing can be reflective of my values. I don't write sex, and I hardly curse, unless its necessary for the character. But what I write doesn't influence or reflect my own morals. Sometimes, characters might do something that I would never consider doing. I hope you understand that if I write about drinking, smoking, or curse, you won't take this as hypocrisy, but understand that the character is a separate entity entirely, and does not reflect my own actions as a born again Christian. Furthermore, I will not shove my beliefs down your throat, and I will not judge you. That is not my place. My duty, through Christ, is to live out the Gospel and share it with you, not to tell you the laundry list of things you've done wrong and condemn you for that. God does not hate us for the many things we've done wrong. His love is uninfluenced by anything we've done and He loves unconditionally, and I hope I can reflect that to you.

Anyways, that was a tangent.

I hope you are not turned away by the fact that I am a Christian. I only ask that you read my writing separate and despite what you might think of me.
