I know I've got to stop being so late with these updates.

Clever growled in frustration as he watched his malfunctioning soldiers. Why weren't they following his orders? Every time he gave them instructions they seem to do the complete opposite. He reached up and scratched his head roughly, aggravated. His hand slipped down his face to his injuries and prodded them gently, still furious with the Doctor. He hadn't had time to attend to them as he and the Doctor were dealing Clara at the time. He sighed as he thought about what was going to happen now. Clara still obviously needed the medical treatments from the TARDIS and he couldn't take her anywhere else. The Cyberbase was completely destroyed, the only remaining Cybermen stood here malfunctioning in front of him. He sighed deeply as he glanced at Jack who was leaning against the TARDIS door, watching him like a hawk. He rolled his eyes, a scowl on his face, and returned to trying to solve the problem with his soldiers.

He scanned through their data bases, trying to see if something had screwed up their coding. He annoyingly scrolled through them, faster than any normal brain could ever dream of doing. He found nothing, almost throwing them back before his scanners caught something he almost missed. A little tweak was made in their codes. He enhanced the alteration and found that it was put there purposely. His jaw clenched angrily. He knew only one thing that could've done that.

He quickly turned around, rage building up and he clenched his fists, trying so very hard not to throw Jack across the floor. Stalking up to him in angry strides he hissed at him.

"Where's the Doctor?" He demanded.

Jack barely had any time to respond as Clever shoved him out of the way and he barged in. He knew this was the Doctor's doing. It was a distraction. To get him away from Clara so that the Doctor could…

He didn't even want to think about it, it enraged him even more.

He sprinted across the console room and up the stairs, his footsteps thundering as he made his way towards the medical bay.

Warmth continued to flow all throughout her as Clara rested her head against the Doctor's chest, the sound of his four-beat heart rhythm lulling her in and out of sleep. He stroked her hair absentmindedly and held her close, trying to savor every single moment with her. His Clara.

Even after the moments they just spent together, for the umpteenth time, he still could not believe Clara was here right beside him. His soul sang with joy and he felt complete. He turned his head to breathe into her hair, sighing in absolute content. With their hands interlocked in between them, he stroked the back of hers with the pad of his thumb. While they continued to lie together, Clara began to think about everything. About what happened then and what will happen now. She thinks about the Doctor and all of the adventures that they've had together, including the events that followed Trenzalore. She began to think about how she had fallen in love with him. Then, she began to think about Clever and their adventures, about how she had fallen for him as well. She thought of how it was possible for one to share such feelings for two different people. She didn't want to relive what happened a couple days ago. It filled her with terror as she thought about the two men that she loved ripping each other apart. This gave her conflicting emotions, she didn't want to think about it. But, she knew that she had to. She knew that eventually she would have to pick one, but she didn't want to. She loved them both so much.

Her eyes began to water as she thought about them both. Her bonds began to pull on her. The pull on her chest was straining. One bond, Clever's, tugged hard at her heartstrings, but the other bond, the Doctor's, has been reawakened and pulled just as hard. She doesn't know which one to choose. She didn't even know she could have more than one bond. A tear slipped down her cheek. She loved them both so very dearly.

The Doctor's sharp eye caught the movement of the tear and looked at her, concern now filled his face. He gently reached around and wiped the tear off her face, thumb tracing her cheek.

"Hey," He whispered softly, "what's this all about?"

Clara exhaled and closed her eyes. She loved him so very much. She leaned into his hand and kissed his thumb. She was about to respond when she felt something. She sobered up and was taken aback. She sat up suddenly, panicking slightly at the amount of anger she felt coming from Clever. She could feel his rage and knew he was getting closer and closer. She looked at the Doctor in fear.

"He's coming." Anger filled the Doctor. He had finally found Clara, had finally reunited with her. He was not about to lose her again.

Clara got out of bed and began to search for her clothes, not wanting to go through another incident naked again. She had been informed that she was naked during the Dalek attack and her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. While slipping on her dress, she caught the Doctor staring at here. She shivered at the amount of dominance held in his gaze. Her knees buckled a little as the instinct to succumb almost took her over, but she quickly shook herself and hurried to the door. Hearing rustling behind her, she turned to see the Doctor slipping his clothes on and Clara took a step forward, fearing for what was about to happen.

"Doctor, please." She was afraid because she knew that the Doctor was about to confront Clever. After the event of the last confrontation, she feared for both of them.

But the Doctor ignored her, putting his arm through the sleeve of his tweed jacket and walking out the door. Panicking, Clara ran after of him and grabbed his arm, tugging on him.

"Doctor, please don't do this. I don't want either you to get hurt." The Doctor continued to stride down the hall. Clara's breathing increased as she tried to keep up with him, moving her grip to his shoulder. He still wouldn't budge. His jaw set in determination, he was unfazed by her attempts to stop him. She then ran in front of him in order to push back at him but he stopped suddenly, crashing her into him. She looked up at him, wondering why he stopped when she noticed his deathly glare positioned right above her.

She slowly moved her gaze to behind her and saw Clever, knowing what was about to happen. She noticed the way his fists were tight at his sides, the clenching of his jaw, the holes his eyes burned, his intimidating stance, the loud growling. It screamed rage. The pheromones of the dominating Alphas was suffocating.

Clara swallowed hard and slowly backed away from the Doctor, not wanting to be in the middle of this. The Doctor growled at her, hand whipping out and grasping her waist tight, tugging her flush against him. Clever hissed as the Doctor laid his hand on her, taking a step forward and threatening the Doctor. He growled lowly in return, attempting to push Clara behind him. But, Clara has had enough and tried to squirm her way out of the Doctor's grip. But the Doctor held her lock tight, almost painfully so. Enough for Clara to burst.

"Doctor, stop!" At her shout he released her immediately, quickly scanning her to see if he had hurt her. She stumbled back and stood in the middle of the both of them trying to keep one as far away from the other as possible.

"Please, just for once can you both try to not murder each other?" She said tiredly, looking between the two of them. It was still for a while before the Doctor spoke up.

"It's not something we can necessarily control, Clara. It's instinct. Trust me, if I could use another solution I would." He said, eyes glued to Clever's. Neither of them breaking eye contact.

"There has to be something we can do. There's always another way." She wasn't so sure of her own words now. Things are so different now compared to when it was just her and the Doctor traveling. Not that she regretted Clever, she loved him just as much as she loved the Doctor.

That's when they heard fast footsteps coming from down the corridor behind the Doctor. The turned and saw Jack sprinting down the hall, stopping in front of the Doctor and trying to catch his breath. He tried to control his breathing, bending down and resting his hands on his knees before attempting to speak.

"Doctor," He wheezed, "it's Clever, he found out. He's-"He then saw Clever standing behind Clara.

"Oh," gesturing toward him. He noticed the heavy tension between the three of them and had a feeling he should back away for a little. Clara looked at him and he could see in her eyes that she was begging him for help. He walked up to her in an attempt to take her out of the middle of the situation. But just as he reached for her both the Doctor and Clever snarled at him, each growling possessively in warning. Very slowly as if one bad move could trigger them, Jack removed his hand and backed away from them, giving Clara an apologizing glance.

Just as Jack had backed off, Clever got a whiff of Clara's scent. His eyes widened as he recognized the smells. There was the distinct smell of mating that he was surprised he hadn't noticed before. His breathing increased and he clenched and unclenched his fists, growling lowly before snarling. Clara whipped her head around at the sudden noise and paled as she suddenly realized that he had caught her smell. Clara protectively tugged her dress down, a useless attempt to cover the smell. This only made him angrier. Rage filled his entire being, his Alpha instincts kicking in as he smelt the seed of another Alpha inside of her.

He could smell the Doctor's seed inside Clara.

Baring his teeth, Clever roared and charged at the Doctor. The Doctor glared and braced himself for impact, growling and curling his lips. Clever ran with all his might, muscles tense with the instinct to rid the other Alpha from his Omega. He saw red as he lunged at the Doctor at full speed, intending to tear him apart. An Alpha with another Alpha's mate was the most dangerous thing anyone could ever do. He ran with the intent of conflicting more pain on the Doctor than the last time they collided.

Then suddenly, something small stood in front of the Doctor. Clever came to a complete stop, trying not to harm the Omega that placed herself between two very dangerous Alphas. He clumsily stopped directly in front of her, still breathing angry breaths. Clara had put herself between them. She could feel the Doctor and Clever's enraged breathing on her, but knew they weren't going to do anything that could cause any harm to her. Still, that didn't stop her from being terrified as she could practically feel the rage radiating from the two Alphas on either side of her. Taking a deep breath, she carefully placed a small hand on Clever's chest. She heard the Doctor hold his breath and tense. Jack warily looked from behind the Doctor, watching closely. Clever kept eye contact with Clara as she slowly pushed him back and away from the Doctor.

"We can't keep going on like this." She said, knowing that she would have to confront this eventually. Clever nodded.

"We know." The Doctor agreed. He took a step forward.

"You're going to have to choose." Clever said gently. Her brow furrowed as tears threatened to fill her eyes. She shook her head ever so slightly.

"I can't." She whispered.

"Clara, you have to," The Doctor said from behind her, "or we'll have to do it for you." He said ruefully, glancing at Clever.

"No, I…" She trailed off, her chest pulling itself in half. She then realized that it was all on her. It was her decision, whatever she said was to be written in stone. That whatever she said, they would do immediately without thought. They waited for her. Standing absolutely still until she gave the word. She realized that though they might be all-powerful Alphas, in the end, it was the Omegas that held the most power. She swallowed roughly, knowing that she had to say something. But, her heart was breaking in two. The tears finally managed to spill, running down her cheeks as a hiccup she meant to cover escaped her mouth. Her hands flew up to her mouth as more came out, crumpling to floor like a dead leaf.

"Clara!"

The Doctor and Clever were at her sides immediately, kneeling down and cooing, doing their best to calm her down. They both pained at seeing their Omega so distressed. Their instincts are conflicted between tending to the saddened Omega in front of them and ripping the other Alpha apart. Clever knelt in front of her as the Doctor sat beside her. Both hovered over her, conflicted. Clever held her hands, caressing them while the Doctor had his arm around her, rubbing her back.

"Clara, don't cry. Please, don't cry." Clever stressed, lifting a hand to wipe the tear from her face. Clara grabbed his hand and held it to her chest tightly as she continued to sob silently, moving it under chin to nuzzle it.

The Doctor knelt at her side, head close to hers to comfort her. Clara sniffled as she turned towards him, burying her head into his neck. She held both of them closely, not wanting to let either of them go. The Doctor and Clever glanced at each other almost desperately, not knowing what to do. Jack watched the three from a far, fighting with himself on whether or not he should interfere. He continued to watch as Clara lifted her head, tearing still falling down her face. Both Alphas waited patiently for her to speak, staying close. They both pained at Clara being so stressed, wanting to do anything to make her feel better.

"I can't choose," She wheezed, "I love you both too much."

The pain she felt was astonishing. She couldn't contain it. She then started to hyperventilate, hiccupping as the stress to choose took over her to the point where she almost began to panic. The Doctor acted immediately, taking her face gently in his hands. Clever tensed but allowed the Doctor to hold her if it meant calming her down. The Doctor began to speak softly.

"Clara, Clara, look at me." He breathed, resting his head on hers.

"Look at me. It's alright. I'm here." As much as she tried her breathing just got faster and faster. She shook her head, terror in her eyes as she tried to control herself.

"Doctor." She said fearfully. The panic was overwhelming, filling her chest with dread. Jack watched hopelessly from behind.

"Do something!" He yelled and the Doctor slammed his eyes shut.

Clara suddenly collapsed in his arms, falling silent as the Doctor positioned her carefully. Clever watched him wearily as he held Clara, cradling her to his chest. Jack looked on in confusion and alarm.

"What did you do?" He asked, cautiously stepping closer to the three. The Doctor sighed as he brushed the hair from Clara's eyes.

"I put her to sleep for now, just to rest her brain. She's been through so much. Too much." He murmured. A hint of sadness can be heard under his breath as he stared into her face. Clever's defense was still up but he wanted Clara to rest. Even if it meant in the Doctor's arms, as much as he hated to admit.

"What's going to happen to her?" Jack asked quietly. The Doctor was silent before slowly shaking his head.

"I don't know," his voice was small and gravelly, "This has never happened before. I've never heard of an Omega taking two mates, of have more than one bond. I actually didn't think it was possible till now. I don't know what's going to happen." He admitted in defeat.

"But, I do know that it is very unhealthy for her. It's straining her. She can't handle the power of two Alpha bonds." He looked at the limp Clara with pain in his eyes. Clever glanced at Clara painfully, knowing that some of the pain she was going through was his fault. He bowed his head down.

All was silent for a bit before the Doctor sighed again, making up his mind. He turned to Jack and motioned to Clara.

"Here, take her. Take her somewhere safe for a little bit. There should be a bedroom down the hall. If you can't find it, the TARDIS should direct you to it." He lifted Clara very gently, as if she was made of porcelain, towards Jack who bent down to pick her up. Jack lifted back up and held her to him, making sure she wouldn't fall.

"Jack," Jack looked back down at the Doctor's strict tone, glancing back at the hard eyes that held him in place.

"Make sure she's safe."

It was a warning, he knew. A warning he could see in both of their eyes. Hurt her and we'll come for you. Jack nodded carefully, a little nervous as he adjusted Clara in his arms.

Both Alphas were very uncomfortable with the notion of having another male touching Clara, but they knew it was for the best. Having Jack's scent all over her was different, a bad different, and they both had to ignore the urge to growl warningly at him. Jack took a couple of steps back before turning around, glancing one last time at the two Alphas on the ground. They then watched until Jack and Clara disappeared around the corner.

They sat there for a bit longer before Clever stood up along with the Doctor. The Doctor knew he shouldn't have done that. He shouldn't have sent Jack with Clara. They shouldn't be left unattended. They were alone now. He stood there breathing, watching Clever as intensely as he watched him. He knew he had just done something no one should ever do. He didn't know if he could control himself now. His instinct was too strong, too overwhelming. He glared as Clever slowly began to bare his teeth at him in a quiet snarl. Never leave two Alphas together.

Alone.
