He sits in the Godswood, he always comes here, to where the Queen of the North ordered Ramsay Bolton torn apart by wolves. The ground still has the sweet scent of blood. His bones creak every time he shifts, and the false teeth do nothing except scar and crack his lips further. Sansa was truly cruel when she withdrew the execution. The steps approach again, to light to be a bannerman, and too hesitant to be Sansa or her otherworldly sister. R-Theon, looks up and prepares a quip he knows will get him nothing but a broken nose. Instead it's Sansa's cherished ward, Cersei's bastard daughter. (Sansa will never bear children, not after watching her family fall.) Myrcella actually sits beside him, apparently not caring that he tried to butcher Winterfell. She's the only girl besides the wolf assassin that will look at him. (He knows that happens because she's as destroyed and scarred as Sansa's besotted hound.)

The Lannister's hair is still golden though, and he wagers the rest of her is as beautiful as her mother's body was claimed to be (he can't, somehow he wants to live.) It's when she turns her head that he sees the remains of her ear, the scar still looks fresh. Theon is certain he's dreaming, knows he's dead when she smiles at him, though her face splits apart when she does it (He still thinks she belongs in King's Landing.) When she speaks her voice is fair and beautiful, and her face makes him think it's only a mummers' farce.

"I always thought I was a Baratheon, I always wanted to see more of my father." Myrcella looks away then, face filled with grief. "Then I was told I was a lion. I tried, but I can't be either, not cunning enough for a Lannister and never noble enough for a stag." She shares, voice filled with bitterness. Theon wants her to stop, wants her to treat him like the rest of them.

"And you," and she looks at him then, so focused he thinks of Stannis and his red whore. "Never truly a Stark and rejected from the Greyjoy line." He wants to punch her, wants her to scream, before he feels her lean on him and smile. Theon freezes in shock. "We're broken, we're dirt and scraps thrown to hungry dogs." He sees her skinless face contort into a smile. "And so it goes."
