CURRENTLY BEING REVISED/EDITED/SLIGHTLY RE-WRITTEN

Author's Note: I know it's been a while since I've last posted anything on Fan Fiction. I've been trying to get back into the groove of writing again but it's slow going and not as easy as I thought it would be after all the time I've spent not writing. While I was skimming through some of my old stories I thought I'd go back and fix some of the grammatical/spelling errors. It's been bothering me a lot but I was honestly too busy to go back and fix anything until now.

For the most part, the story is the same.

There are added paragraphs and details changed here and there.

For example, the summary was sort of re-written, chapter two is a lot longer than it was before (I think I was a little vague with Rose and Dimitri's inner thoughts and why they act so emotionally distant), their ages have been adjusted a bit, he's not engaged to Tasha but they're sleeping together etc. Conversations are a little bit different, added thoughts and maybe a bit of the plot (I'm not completely certain yet) but nothing that should change the outcome of the story overall.

Actually, after writing all of that it seems like I'm changing the entire story but it's still the same story! I'm just tuning it up a bit, writing it the way I meant to the first time around but didn't know how or have the skills how.

I thought about just asking someone to beta the story but I kind of like doing this on my own. I've decided to do this until I feel ready to write something new. I miss how much fun writing fan fiction was! I have a few stories started but I have no idea where I want to take them so until then...

Updated chapters won't be frequent (since it's already a completed story) but I'll do my best!

Dimitri

"You're looking pretty pleased with yourself."

Rose stretched and the proud smile Dimitri had spotted on her face seconds before that had elicited the comment from him grew wider.

"I am feeling pretty proud of myself. You have to admit..." she trailed off, stretching again before rolling over. "That was pretty amazing."

Dimitri just shook his head, amused.

"You're looking a lot more relaxed than when we came in here."

"And you think that's you're doing?" he asked jokingly although they both knew that Rose was the only reason that he was feeling a lot less tense than when they first walked into this hotel room. He just liked hearing some of the things that came out of her mouth.

"I do," she answered with a grin that said she was just pointing out the obvious. "I'll even be as bold as to say that I was so amazing, that I may have made you fall in love with me."

At this, Dimitri laughed outright.

He could see the flicker of surprise on Rose's face before she quickly recovered. Dimitri never laughed during their encounters. He barely smiled and when he did, it was usually smugly.

"Admit it, Dimitri Belikov."

"Admit what?" He asked, already knowing what she was going to say but going along with it anyway because it was part of the fun of it all. Simple. Easy. Rose was just the first of his flings that interested him even when they weren't having sex. Something surprising or interesting always came out of her mouth, intriguing him enough to enjoy those few moments before or after sex that are usually awkward or quiet.

"You love me."

Dimitri stood pulling on his shirt. He chuckled and shook his head as if this was the craziest thing he'd ever heard.

"No, Rose, I can assure I don't. This was a one time deal."

"You've slept with me more than once now," she smugly reminded him.

"Multiple mistakes on my part," he told her curtly.

Rose simply shrugged and rolled over. The fact that she didn't react to Dimitri's brusque attitude after sex was one of the reasons he found himself breaking his rule of only sleeping with the same girl once. She knew this was an arrangement and nothing else.

No emotions. No problems.

For guy that was just looking to engage in the old game of casual sex with no strings attached, Rose was the perfected partner.

Instead of being offended or hurt by Dimitri's words, she laughed and made to climb out of the bed just as Dimitri did as soon as they had finished moments before. Dimitri watched, unable to take his eyes off of her bare figure, as she pulled on her bra and underwear and finally the thin strapped dress she'd been wearing before Dimitri had practically torn it off of her the moment she walked through the door.

"Fine then," she said, her back to Dimitri. "You don't love me but you love having me around," she said her voice like velvet.

Dimitri laughed again, softer this time.

He liked having her "around" certain parts of his body. From the look on Rose's face, she was thinking along the same crude lines as Dimitri was but neither of them acknowledged the dirty retort aloud.

"Only at my mere convenience," Dimitri answered instead.

"That's not the impression you made a few minutes ago," she said haughtily, slipping on her shoes.

Dimitri nearly moaned at the memory as a shuddered started to run through him. He could practically feel the tips of Rose's fingers grazing lightly over his skin right before he'd taken her completely. Unashamed of the reaction Rose's words elicited from his body, he let the satisfaction show on his face and then his expression turned smug.

"You weren't too displeased yourself if I recall correctly," he murmured.

For a moment Dimitri watched a light blush color Rose's tanned, creamy cheeks and then she turned away to glance in the mirror checking for any smudged makeup or tousled, mussy hair.

He felt his smug smile grow even wider as he replayed the images in his mind of each and every one of Rose's reactions to how and where he touched her. Those were moments he appreciated and would probably keep with him for the rest of his life.

There was no denying Rose as beautiful. Plus, she's a great lover and emotionally unattached. Those were three qualities Dimitri looked for in a woman.

The perfect arrangement.

Everyone was happy.

Or at least very satisfied.
