Why I Ship Harmony

A/N: I know this has been done a million and one times before, but what the heck? let's make it a million and two.

I ship Harmony becauseā€¦

I'm not a fan of Harry's Oedipal complex

Even that bloody cannon can't sink our ship

Brains should always come before beauty

The thing Harry loves most about Hermione is her intelligence, her cunning, and her loyalty. The thing that Harry loves most about Ginny is her hair.

Ron's just a consolation prize

Arguing with someone so badly one ends up screaming and the other ends up crying when you're only friends doesn't bode well for when you're married.

Albus Severus? WTF? Hermione wouldn't let that happen.

We don't want to play into the "Heroes Want Redheads" TV Trope

If I'm "delusional" for shipping Harmony, then I don't want to know what JKR is for thinking One Big Happy Weasely Family is realistic.

The last two books never happened. They were just a very, very, bad dream.

If Harry and Hermione get married they will have the same initials.

They would have kids with the worst hair known to man. And it would be adorable.

I read "Magic Never Dies" by Lynney on Portkey. Honestly, how someone could possibly not be a rabid H/Hr fan after that fic has issues.

Then I get some Ron/Luna and Draco/Ginny on the side.

Harry wanted to save Hermione from the troll. If it had just been Ron, Hermione would never have made it to Second Year.

Ron's lazy.

Jealousy and Envy is not attractive.

Ron is the seven deadly sins personified- lust (Lavender Brown, 6th year), greed (Harry's money), envy (anything Harry gets), pride (how much he gloats when he ever succeeds), sloth (do I really need to explain this one?), wrath (the first half of fourth year, when he ditches Harry and Hermione during the Horcrux hunt, and a bunch of other times), gluttony (once again, must I explain?).

Take another look at 18. I think it's just brilliant.

Let's look at 18 one more time for good measure.

Why the hell not?
