L Used Logic
A/N: Okay, I've been all brainwashed by Pokémon these past few weeks, so I got this really odd image of a fanfiction involving Death Note and Pokémon.
Hell. Yeah.
Anyway, please enjoy. I realize it's extremely short.
At the hotel where the investigators for Kira were residing, a strangely quiet atmosphere settled in. The occasional tap on L's bright computer played a role as a hypnosis that suddenly made Misa-misa very drowsy. Usually, Misa-misa would be in her room, but she felt somewhat… thrown out today. L didn't seem to notice or care and he paused his tapping on the computer to stir his coffee. His wide eyes were glued to the screen, but he stacked up sugar cubes perfectly. Raito was just there.
Misa-misa at this point found L to be REALLY boring. She, indeed, needed to cure her boredom, so she asked, "Ryuuzaki, why are you so boring?" At first, he seemed to be too busy with his tapping, so she decided he didn't hear. But then he replied, "Because I don't like causing attention."
Misa-misa blinked. "Why not? Misa loves it when everyone looks at her."
"That's because you're supposed to be a famous model."
"But Ryuuzaki is famous, too. Everyone knows who L is."
"No one knows how I look. It's different Misa-san," he replied with a sense of finality.
"But… but…" Misa-misa stuttered.
A quiet Raito looked over at her. With an awfully evil smirk, he threw a Pokéball at Misa-misa. It opened up and sucked Misa-misa in.
The ball shook one… two… three… Misa-misa was caught!
One kid with a GameBoy SP mashed the A button. "My L used Logic on Misa-misa and I caught it!"
Another kid exclaimed, "Oh my god, that's so cool. I can't catch Misa-misa very well. My L keeps one-hit-KO-ing it. It's probably because he's level 100."
Then a girl replied, "I have a Raito. I beat an L with it before. Then again, they keep using Logic at each other. Hey, did you ever catch a Near or Mello before?"
"No, they're hard to find. But I bet my L could beat them both!"
"My L lost to both of them."
"ALL I EVER CATCH IS A BUNCH OF MATSUDAS!" another whiny kid yelled.
They all sighed in unison.
A/N: Gosh, that ending is just so lovely. Please review.
