That was how other people described their relationship. The small one and the giant. The monster and the child.
They didn't realise that one was really the other, and the other was really the one.

What they never saw was how much the giant revelled in the small one's antics and how the small one giggled and laughed at the sight of blood.

They were never without each other, one clasping onto the other's shoulder, or the other making sure the one was warm for the night.

They weren't that different from each other, the hardcore and the gentle.
