1 hour later

As Harry groggily woke up to the sound of his Aunt Petunia screeching like cat nails on a chalk board and banging on his cupboard door, his body went on auto pilot as he began going over what he learned an hour ago.

'So I was given this amazing power and now I have to use it to save the world from some great evil? I wonder what that great evil is and why there are so many question marks on my status screen?' thought Harry as he began to make breakfast for the two walruses in clothes currently sitting at the table, drooling at the mere thought of food.

"Hurry up boy! We don't have all day! Me and the little tyke here are bloody starving for christ's sake!" bellowed Harry's Uncle Vernon. And so while balancing multiple plates of pancakes, bacon, eggs, and toast on his arms, Harry briskly made his way to the table trying to get there as quickly as possible whilst not dropping any food or plates lest he get a frying pan to head from his loving (read crazy) Aunt.

As he set the plates on the table the two morbidly obese walruses began absolutely devouring the meal set before them at a disgusting pace, like a man who's been starved for weeks. Despite both of them already being told by their physicians to stop eating so much, they still happily continued to consume as much food as they wanted.

'Maybe one day they'll drop dead of a clogged artery or a heart attack?' thought Harry morbidly with a wishful look on his face as he watched them scarf down plate after plate. Now normally Harry wasn't one to hold a grudge, heck he didn't even like confrontations! But he knew that if there was anyone who deserved misfortune, it was the Dursleys.

Deciding to learn more about his power, Harry silently thought 'Guide' and looked on as another screen appeared, this time yellow. It had information on various topics but there was one that really caught his eye, Inventory. Deciding to click on it, he was met with an enourmous amount of information.

INVENTORY:

Inventory is your own little pocket dimension where no time passes and any all items are imperishable. You can currently hold up to 40 slots worth of items. Each different item takes up a slot but most items can stack meaning you can have multiples of a certain item. (I.e. flapjacks, papers, die, etc). Money can also be kept so you never have to worry about being robbed or pickpocketed again. Simply take however much money you have and insert it into the inventory window and it will appear in your inventory as a number in the bottom right hand corner of the window. To remove funds just think the amount and currency you want and remove it from your inventory. Your inventory can also convert money seamlessly no matter the fluctuation of conversion rates.

'Wow,' was the only coherent thought Harry could think of as the implications of such a power were made to him instantly. 'NO MORE STARVING! WOOHOO!' Harry exclaimed in his mind while having an absolute poker face outside, not wanting to show any joy whatsoever to the Dursleys, as they believed he deserved no joy and would take any chance to rob him of it should he show any sign of having it.

Deciding to try it out he mentally commanded 'Inventory' and it appeared in front of him. He grabbed the measly piece of burnt toast given to him by his Aunt Petunia and stuck it in his inventory. With a yellow flash it disappeared from his hand and appeared in the first slot with a small 1 by it. 'This must mean that food can be stacked! I really will never go hungry again!' thought Harry. His thoughts were interrupted by the appearance of another screen which read:

For thinking things through and making a correct deduction you gain 1 Wis!

'Huh, neat', thought Harry. Pulling up the guide screen again he clicked on the next thing that caught his fancy, "Leveling".

LEVELING:

By gaining enough experience one can increase their level thus increasing their stats. Every level, you gain an additional 5 stat points that can be put towards increasing your stats in a pinch. However be careful and spend your stat points wisely, as after each time you level up it gets harder and harder to move up to the next level. You can increase your stats in other ways besides leveling up. For more information hit the "Training" tab on the guide screen. To see what level you are and how much experience or XP is needed to level up look at the top right corner of the status screen.

'Hmm, maybe this "Training" thing has something to do with what happened when I came up with the idea of stacking food in my Inventory,' thought Harry. Once more a screen appeared with a message.

For making another correct deduction you gain an additional 1 Wis!

Deciding to get out of the Dursley household he went to the front yard to start tending to his Aunt Petunia's (read his) garden of award winning roses that she takes all the credit for. Before starting on the garden he pulled up the guide again and decided to go to find out what exactly entailed in "Training".

TRAINING:

Besides leveling up there are other ways you can raise your stats. By doing certain actions you can raise a certain stat. Some actions give points faster than others so experiment to find the most rewarding actions. Each action is relative to the stat. You wouldn't lift 200 pounds to increase your luck would you?

'So before I can start to increase my stats I have to figure out each stat's specific action? I know thinking things through and making correct conclusions raise my Wisdom, maybe exercising can raise my Strength, and reading can raise my intelligence?' concluded Harry. As if to congratulate him another window appeared.

For making ANOTHER correct deduction you once again gain 1 Wis

"My power has an attitude? Man I swear this power gets weirder the more I pay attention to it," sighed Harry as he began working on the garden.

WOOHOO ANOTHER 1K CHAPTER DONE! Man this was a pretty good chapter if I do say so myself. Sorry for pretty much repeating the same message over and over again but it's kinda hard to give him stats when he doesn't really have much freedom but trust me it will get better. For those who get the Dorkly reference PM me with the reference and you will get a kudos in the next chapter and a brownie point. Next chapter will start with Harry in the garden but will start to get interesting trust me.
