Through The Universe: Fireball — (character) Molly Weasley

The Absolute Man: Madonna on The Rocks: (phrase) mother dearest

~oOoOoOo~

Molly Weasley never understood the meaning of calling someone 'Mother Dearest.' That was true, until she had children of her own. First two feet turned to four; and then four turned into six; and six turned into ten; until there were fourteen small feet running throughout their house.

As the pattering feet grew louder, so did the voices, and laughter - all the while the smiles grew larger, the servings doubled, and their house quadrupled.

Life was carefree suddenly; no more war, no more famine, no more misery.

But most importantly? The small feet would all gather round and her oldest, William, would say, 'Mother dearest? Please tell us the story one more time?'

But then, fourteen feet fell down to twelve; and then ten; and then eight…

Before too long, it was only four heavily burdened and old feet sliding across the floor.

Their large house felt empty, the table felt too large, there was always too much food left-over.

There was no longer any shrieks of laughter, or no one yelling for Fred and George - no, it would be only George now, - and there was no small faces peering up at her.

Until suddenly, there was.

There was large feet gliding effortlessly across the old, worn floor, and there was small carefree feet pounding after each other.

The adults would gather around after dinner, most likely trying to squeeze in one more family game of Quidditch before the sun came down.

But most importantly? Mother dearest soon turned into Grandmum dearest. Soon, the multitude of small and large feet would gather round. And her oldest grandkid from her youngest child, James, would say, 'Grandmum dearest? Please tell us the story one more time?'
