Sister's Keeper

Alysanne Targaryen is the third child of the Mad King. At age three she lost the majority of her family during the rebellion. During the Game of Thrones as Viserys sister-wife, she must do everything she can to protect her sweet sister Daenerys from the cruel world they live in.

Warg Maiden

She was intended to be the next Three-Eye Raven, a warg from the Dire Tribe. But she was more wolf than a raven. A hunter rather than an observer. Rejected from her true fate, Imogen must take the knowledge she has gained from the Children to stop an imminent threat, the White Walkers. However, a Crow is in the way.

The Other Lannister Sister

Many years after the death of his wife Lady Joanna, Tywin Lannister remarried to Lady Anne of House Serrett who provided him two more children. Lynette Lannister shall tell you her side of the story during Game of Thrones. As the Other Lannister Sister. P.S. Tybalt will pop up now and then too.

Epilogue

Fifteen Years Later

Elain's POV

I sat in a wagon-house that was heading to Winterfell. It has been fifteen years since I last went to Winterfell, for running six of the seven original kingdoms kept me very busy being the High Queen, with Willas as my Consort and an influential Small Council. I looked across the Wagon-House, seeing Willas with our youngest child head resting on his lap. He looked up, giving me a smile while combing his fingers through the young boy's curls. Little Robert continues to sleep, despite the roughness of the roads. Then again, Robert could sleep through anything.

Six children, that is how many children I gave birth too. Then again, I had a pair of twins. The first being Derek, who is currently riding his horse. Followed by Olenna, who is now sixteen and beautiful as a flower. Four months after the Long Night, I discovered I was pregnant, having my third child, a boy named Cedric. A couple of years later, I had twins, Joanna and Cassana. I'll let you know; delivering twins was a struggle. One we thought would cost my life, but the Mother was there and helped me survive. At first, I thought I was barren by then, until giving birth to Robert. After that, the Grand Maester declared that I was done after a couple of years of not conceiving. Six children were enough, and I was thankful for I don't think the Small Council or I can handle another pregnancy.

So, I currently have a seventeen-year-old, a sixteen-year-old, a fourteen-year-old, two ten-year-old, and finally a five-year-old. Derek, Olenna, Cedric, Joanna, Cassana, and finally Robert. Derek was a good mix of his parents. Olenna, though, holds so much resemblance to her father yet, she has my personality. Cedric was courageous, almost like his uncle Loras, training to become a knight. Joanna and Cassana, though they were twins, were entirely opposite, as Joanna has light brown hair, almost a golden brown with blue eyes, while Cassana had dark hair and brown eyes. Both were taking more after of their namesakes. As for Robert, he held more resemblance to Derek, although I see my father in him.

"Mother, is it true you were betrothed to Robb Stark?" Olenna asked.

"Not quite," I chuckled from that memory.

"Your mother had many suitors growing up," Willas murmured. "She was betrothed to Quentyn Martell, then Samwell Tarly, and countless other suitors."

"Your Grandfather, he was hoping to join House Baratheon with House Stark. Your Uncle Joffrey and I were of compatible ages to marry Robb and Sansa."

"What happened?" Joanna asked.

"Well, there was an incident that scared your Grandfather. He always wanted me close, searching for a perfect match. So, Uncle Joffrey was engaged to Lady Sansa. I'm sure your tutors informed you of the history of the War of the Five Kings?"

The girls nodded. The twins were learning about their history. They are already educated in reading and writing. Willas wanted all our children to be educated. No longer supporting women being dainty maidens. So, the children, especially the girls, are highly educated, and for our safety, they are trained with a weapon. At least have basic knowledge of using daggers. All of them are trained or learning about archery. Currently, only Derek and Cedric are trained with swords. The Royal Stags still accompany them, while the Queensguard focuses on Willas' and my protection.

The requirements to be a Queensguard has returned to the methods of Aegon the Conqueror. I made sure it was a choice, not a forced obligation that happened to Uncle Jaime. Ser Barristan, gods, blessed his soul to ensure each of the Seven Queensguard are highly trained before his death. Ser Barristan sadly passed away during a small rebellion started by Targaryen supporters who tried to put a Targaryen on the Throne. A young man who was proclaiming to be Aegon, son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Elia Martell. Unfortunately, Uncle Jaime and Ser Barristan, who have seen the body of the late prince, knew he was an imposter. Sadly, Ser Barristan died on the battlefield. His heart failed him. One battle and the old knight got what he wished for. He died protecting the ruler he believed in and was killed on the battlefield with a sword in hand. Ser Arys Oakheart was voted by his brothers to be the next Lord Commander.

As for the Royal Stags, Ser Wensington continued to hold the position as Commander of the Royal Stags. Since the Royal Stags were created to protect the Baratheon family, mainly the children, they were allowed to leave after ten years of service, permitted to be married, father children, and own their own lands. Gareth and Lady Wisteria, have lived happily with two sons and a daughter. Even to this day, Gareth has been by my side, my trusted protector, since my father's passing. I trusted his guidance the same with my Lord Hand. As for Forrester…after ten years, the man finally tamed his jester behavior and found himself a lovely wife. It surprised everyone; it was one of the Frey girls, Freya. They met at a tournament and courted for a year before he asked Waldon Frey for his blessing. There was only a seven-year age difference, yet Freya was a decent girl. Now the two live in the Stormlands at Blackhaven. Yet, all three of us still keep Lamar's memory alive. My distant cousin who gave his life to protect my family. I would have imagined him finishing his ten years of service and starting a family of his own.

Lord Steffon would agree. My Grandfather served thirteen years as Hand of the Queen, until suffering from a stroke that left him paralyzed. The years finally caught up to him, so he resigned as Hand of the Queen and wished to return to Storm's End. I was bound to King's Landing at the time and did not wish for him to go. Yet, Lord Steffon comforted me, saying he would be buried between his wife's memorial and his three sons. So, I let him go back to his home. It would be six months later when Gendry sent a raven informing me of his passing. Viserion allowed Derek, Willas, and I to fly over to attend the funeral.

Losing my Grandfather was the same as losing Lady Olenna. The Queen of Thorns passed in her sleep after celebrating her 85th nameday. It was a celebration of a lifetime, for it was rare for a woman to live this long. Her mind and memory were sharp, and her great-grandchildren loved her. However, I remember when she started to feel unwell. She slept more and secluded herself to her private garden or her chambers. When I ask her what was wrong her response was?

"My heart is acting strange," Lady Olenna said. "It has slowed down and stops a few beats."

Willas knew the end was nearing. Ser Garlan made sure the family was assembled, to be there for her in Highgarden. The grandchildren and great-grandchildren were there. Allowing the Queen of Thorns knows her legacy still continued with Ser Garlan having four children, two of each, and Willas five children at the time. Lady Olenna passed away in her sleep with a smile on her lips.

Death was only the beginning. Only the people I cared so much who have guided me from the beginning of my reign have passed. Soon Grandmaester Gormon passed from age, after which the Citadel assigned a new Maester. With people coming and going, the Small Council keeps changing.

However, there is one person I still have refused to leave. Uncle Tyrion was assigned as Hand of the Queen, two months after Lord Steffon resigned. Tyrion at first refused, saying he was inadequate for the job. Although, after some convincing, he accepted the role. Though it took some convincing from his wife, Tysha. Willas had his Thorns in search of Tysha. It took a decade, but he found the woman in Selhoru in the Volantene territory. Tyrion was in tears when seeing her, as the truth came out about what happened. That Tyrion and Jaime did save her from bandits, that it was not a setup. Tyrion begged for her forgiveness, which Tysha did. They were married, and I believe Tysha has helped in limiting Tyrion's drinking habits.

Speaking of one uncle, there is another. Uncle Jaime followed my plan and courted Lady Brienne, marrying her after two years. Over the thirteen years of marriage, they have two sons. Leo and Selwyn. After five years since the wedding, Lady Sansa released Brienne from her vows which allowed the small family to move to Casterly Rock, where Jaime is now Warden of Westerland. We have seen them at least twice a year. Having a dragon, it was easy to travel large distances.

"Is it true that Lady Sansa and Lord Jon used to be siblings?" Cassana asked.

"I thought incest was forbidden?" Joanna added.

"It is," Willas confirmed. "It's complicated."

I sighed, nodding in agreement. Jon told his siblings a few days after I left that he was not Ned Stark's bastard but the legitimate child of Rhaegar and Lyanna. The siblings kept his secret, after what Daenerys Targaryen did during the War of the Two Queens. So, he remained as Jon Snow. Barely five years since the Long Night, Varys somehow gained the information and started spreading the news. The North was shocked by learning the truth. It was Jon's secret, and Varys exploited it. Willas was on guard, and there were tensions from the Seven kingdoms. A stalemate. It wasn't until Samwell found the legal marriage contract between Lyanna Stark and Robert Baratheon, that prevented Jon claiming the Throne. Yet the tension remained. How the issue was resolved was Sansa's doing. She married Jon and he took the Stark name. The marriage was allowed since they were cousins. So, Jon Snow was now Lord Jon Aegon Stark. The Targaryen name has officially come to an end. Varys, on the other hand, was placed in prison for treason. He escaped and fled Westeros, banished, and never to return. Now Bran was the Master of Whisperers.

House Stark has prospered since the Long Night. Rickon, currently twenty-six years old, has been a good King, with the guidance of his siblings and Small Council. He married when he turned twenty; he married Eddara of House Tallhart. They have sired two children so far. As for Jon and Sansa, they have two children as well, Lyanna and Eddard. Lyanna was thirteen, and Eddard is seven. I've seen the Starks now and then at tournaments. Before the marriage, Sansa had visited King's Landing after the five years of Winter. Other times were at tournaments hosted in the Riverland's by Edmure Tully. In the end, our friendship still continues through ravens and trade.

"So why are we visiting House Stark?" Joanna asked.

"Because we are celebrating and honoring the victory of the Long Night," I answered.

"A war against White Walkers," Cedric said, who had his horse coming up to the window of the Wagon-house.

"The White Walkers aren't real," Joanna countered.

"Actually, they were," Willas said. "I saw a Wight fifteen years ago. Your Mother even fought in the Long Night, riding on Viserion."

"Viserion must've been brave," Cassana murmured.

"Yes, Viserion was brave. He made sure I was protected as we burned the wights, and with his brothers, we destroyed the Ghost Dragon the Night King was riding on." I reminded. "If it weren't for the Starks, the land would have been in winter for many generations."

The young ones nodded.

Robert yawned as he was woken up and rubbed his eyes. He sat up, which Willas adjusted his arm to secure the little one. Robert looked around, seeing his siblings, before climbing up to look out the window.

"Are we there yet?" Robert asked.

Everyone chuckled from how innocent he sounded. Derek came up to the window Robert was staring out of, almost surprising the little one. Derek chuckled, giving his apologies.

"We're almost there, Robert," Derek assured.

I smiled, staring at Derek, he had my color traits, yet his face was more like Willas. He has grown so much over the past eighteen years of his life. Being the overprotective brother, already a knight and a scholar. One day, when my time comes, I know Derek will be a good King.

"How soon?" Robert asked. "It's boring in here!"

"Ten miles," Derek answered with a chuckle.

Robert nodded as he sat down.

Willas and I chuckled at Robert's antics.

.o0o.

The Royal Company arrives at Winterfell by the late afternoon. The gates open at the Great Keep, and onto the courtyard. It brought memories from twenty years ago when King Robert's court arrived at Winterfell. Only this time, the Queensguard and Royal Stags surrounded the royal wagon-house, with Derek and Cedric on each side with their family banner. When the wagon-house stopped, Derek opens the door and offered a hand to me. I smiled at my son, stepping down as Willas came down as well, having his cane ready before the other children came out.

Although the moment I came out, the common folk bowed while at the front of the castle House Stark stood. Willas and I walked over, the Starks gave a bow which we returned.

Our ambassador, Ser Joseph stood in the middle,

"Your Majesty, Queen Elain of House Baratheon and King Consort Willas, of House Tyrell," Ser Joseph introduced us.

"Your Grace," Rickon greeted. "We welcome you to Winterfell. Please leave your weapons here. You are our guest."

Out of courtesy, I removed my Valyrian dagger, known as Antler, and presented it to Rickon. The young King appreciated it, as he accepted the dagger. Everyone gave their weapons except for the Queensguard and the Royal Stags, for they were knights who earned their Valyrian blades, which was agreed upon before our arrival.

"You've gotten taller," I said to Rickon.

Rickon glanced down at me, arching a brow since I was still of average height. None of us could help but burst into laughter as we hugged each other. The others chuckled as well, for it brought memories of our fathers' reunion. Once I pulled away, I greeted Queen Eddara.

"Your grace," Eddara greeted with a smile.

I turned my attention to his children. Both appeared to be around five and three years old.

"Now, who do we have here?" I asked.

"I'm Robb," the eldest boy said, who resembled like his father.

"I'm Rodrick," the youngest chirped.

I nodded, then turned my attention to Sansa, "Sansa…" I walked over, giving her a hug, which she returned. "Five years, why haven't I seen you? Where the hell have you been?"

"Making sure these boys run our Kingdom," Sansa said happily.

I nodded, "Sometimes, it takes a woman to maintain a kingdom."

We both chuckled from that, before turning to Jon. He stood there still in his dark clothes.

"You're still brooding. After fifteen years, you're still brooding cousin," I jest.

Jon gave a small smile, "It's been a long time."

I nodded, and turn to the children, "And who do we have here. You must be Lyanna?"

As I stared at the thirteen-year-old girl, who had dark hair like her father and blue eyes like her Mother. Lyanna gave a bow. Then I turned to the seven-year-old boy who had red hair and dark eyes.

"And you are?"

"Eddard, your grace," the boy said, giving a bow.

"An honorable name," I murmured with a smile, seeing a bit of Lord Ned in him.

The next person I meet was Bran. He continued to sit in his wheelchair with knowing eyes — the boy who was pushed out of the window and soon became the Three-Eyed Raven.

"Three-Eyed Raven," I greeted with a curtsey.

"Queen Elain," He replied with a bow of his head.

I summoned the children over as they gave their proper bows and curtseys.

"May I introduce my children," I started. "My eldest son, Crown Prince Derek, Princess Olenna, Prince Cedric, the Princess Joanna and Cassana, and finally our youngest, Prince Robert."

"You must be tired from your long journey," Queen Eddara said. "May we escort you to your chambers and rest."

"That would be much appreciated," Willas replied.

Eddara nodded, leading the way to our lodgings. Sansa joined us as she came over to me as we talk about the last time we saw each other. She has changed so much over the past fifteen years. No longer has she kept her walls up being guarded from the North's independence to being married to Jon. The choice I made in separating from the North has been a good one. One that can repay the debt my family has made.

Once in our room, Willas sat down on the bed and sighed. Immediately, I came over, removing the leather brace, followed by his boots, and rolled up his trousers. I then put his leg over my lap and began to massage his knee. Willas sighed in relief as I eased the swelling. Over the years, his knee has worsened from the countless steps of the Red Keep. My husband is stubborn and refuses to using a wheelchair or being carried around.

"Not as young as I once was," Willas sighed.

"Only two more years before you turn fifty," I murmured.

Willas grumbled from that. I chuckled, leaning forward to kiss him. That resulted in a smile on his lip. We kissed for a few moments until his hand rested on my breast, giving a squeeze. I gasped, pulling away.

"How is it you're still a pervert," I muttered.

"Just lucky, I guess," he teased.

I rolled my eyes. Even to this day, his libido has been the same — no difficulties than most men of his age. Even with the pregnancies, how my body has changed, he has been faithful to me. There was a time we attended one of Oberyn's parties. As a precaution for our identities, a mask was given. Willas stayed by my side, of course, other people came for kissing and touching, especially from Oberyn and Ellaria, in the end, Willas and I kept our carnal desires.

I continued massaging his knee.

"You know this is more than just a friendly reunion," Willas murmured.

I sighed, "I know."

There was more than celebrating fifteen years of winning the Long Night. Both councils will be discussing a marital alliance. The most likely to be betrothed was Cedric being betrothed to Lady Lyanna, or one of the twins being engaged to Eddard. Unless, of course, Rickon has a daughter in the future to marry Robert. As for our other children, Olenna has been courted by many suitors, from Prince Lewyn Martell and Kelvin Tully, the son of Lord Edmure and Lady Roslin. Many other lords hold interest. Unlike Willas and I, who are in an arranged marriage, we try to allow our children a chance to fall in love, or at least to know their potential spouse instead of meeting them first at the altar. Willas and I only had two, maybe three weeks of courting before we wed. So, the children needed to know their possible spouse, although Willas is having a hard time having men near our daughters. Especially Olenna, who holds some resemblance to Margery.

"The union could happen between our children or our grandchildren," I reminded.

"I know," Willas sighed.

I soon finished massaging his leg, "Let our children get to know the Starks more. I think our main focus is Derek since he is a man now."

"Who knows, he could be thirty before he marries," Willas joked.

I swatted my husband's shoulder to which he laughed. I will not wait that long for grandchildren. "I want grandbabies in five years."

Willas grabbed my hand before turning me over and pinning me to the bed, "Or we can make another?" When all of a sudden, he started tickling me.

"Willas!" I shriek, laughing hard, trying to avoid his fingers.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Willas gave me a peck on the lips before pulling back. I panted, standing up to correct myself before answering the door, to see it was Robert with his Septa. Robert rushed in, clinging to my leg.

"I'm sorry your grace, he was overwhelmed by the change of scenery," the septa said.

I nodded, kneeling down and picking Robert up. "It's all right, Robert. I was nervous about this place too."

Robert looked at me, surprised, "Really?"

"I was Derek's age when I first came here. But I promise you; it will be fun. And you get to play with Eddard, Robb, and Rodrick. You get to make new friends. And maybe Lord Jon will allow you to see his direwolf."

"Direwolf?" Robert asked, excitedly.

I nodded.

"Big as Viserion?" Robert asked.

"No, he's not big as Viserion, but Rhaegal, Viserion's brother is here," I said.

Robert nodded with excitement. I kissed my little fawn on the top of his head and set him down. "Now, it's time to calm down and relax. There will be a feast later today."

Robert nodded as his septa took his hand, leading the way back to his room. I watched them leave, entering his own, then sighed, closing the door and leaned against it. Willas continues to sit on the bed as she stared at me with a smile.

"Which is more trying, running a kingdom or raising children?" he asked.

"I remember someone saying wars are easier than daughters," I replied.

Willas laughed, "That they are."

He raised a hand, gesturing me to come over. I came over in which he accepted, as we laid down on the bed to rest. I sighed, breathing in his scent.

"Can you believe it has been nineteen years?" I asked.

Willas nodded as he tucked a loose strand of hair out of my face. "And many more that is to come."

"I love you," I murmured.

"And I love you," He replied back, placing a kiss on my forehead.

With nothing else to say, we rested before the feast.

.o0o.

It was an hour before sundown, I was in Olenna's room with the twins getting the three ready for the feast. Olenna was brushing Joanna's hair while I did Cassana's.

"It's slightly chilly," Cassana mumbled.

"Luckily, it is the Summer season and the Grand Hall will be warmer," I assured her.

"Mother, will there be handsome men there?" Joanna asked.

Olenna chuckled, "You are too young to think about love."

"But Olenna…" Joanna started.

"Enough," I chuckled. "Once more, you are too young of thinking about a husband. Our visit is about making friends and celebrating. But utmost, honoring those who are no longer with us."

"Was it scary, fighting in the Long Night?" Cassana asked.

I took a deep breath, "Yes, it was terrifying. At the time, I thought I would never see your father and older siblings again."

"Uncle Gendry said, you fought against the Dragon Queen," Joanna said.

I stopped what I was doing and stared blankly at the mirror. The memory of killing Daenerys in Winterfell, while outside the city walls was a massacre of a battle. Many lives were lost after another dangerous battle — blood staining the white snow red. I've hardly talked about it. One Archmaester has written the accounts of the Battles and Wars after King Robert Baratheon, from the War of the Five Kings, The War of the Two Queens, and the Long Night. A Song of Ice and Fire.

Olenna noticed my silence and placed her hand over the mine. My sweet girl was only nine months old when the Long Night happened. She has no memory of the events that have happened in those two long days of darkness, nor the bloodbath that occurred in order to survive. Willas and I did what had to be done to protect our children. I hardly talked about the massacre, at least not what happened in the bedroom. I thank the Starks for putting us on the opposite side away from the room.

"Sorry, Mother," the twins apologized in unison realizing they crossed the line.

Only Olenna and Derek know about what happened. Cedric, the twins, and Robert are too young to know of the truth. Willas and I made sure our children would never become like Joffrey. We never spoiled them to the point that they become entitled. There was discipline when there needs to be disciplined. When Derek and Cedric wanted to become knights, they started from the bottom as a squire before becoming knights. Although we waited a year before Derek started jousting after many practices, not wanting to repeat history again.

I hugged the twins, kissing both of their cheeks before finishing their hair. Then it was Olenna's turn as she sat down, brushing her wave of curls and forming it into braids, putting it in a southern bun. Olenna hummed a melody that I always sang to her. Once we were done, the girls put on their dresses. Olenna was wearing a green dress, Joanna wearing a burgundy dress, while Cassana in a golden one.

I put on my bronze and golden dress, wearing a diadem and the brooch Willas gave me. The minute we were ready, we left the room, being accompanied by our guards, to join the boys who were dressed as well. We headed to the Great Hall, as the doors open and the announcer presented us to the Northern Court. The room was festive, the music joyful as men and their wives converse and drink probably because we brought ale and wine, along with provisions so the North wouldn't suffer on finances as they did when King Robert came.

We were soon seated as the leading Starks sat at the front of the Great Hall, with Rickon and Eddard center, Jon and Sansa on the left while Willas and I were on the right. The Children sat with the Stark children in one of the rows. They had a good time in deep conversations — especially the younger ones. The atmosphere so familiar, of a distant memory, seeing the ghosts being festive as ever before as I could see my father center of the room drinking and merry with the men and wenches.

"Strong memories," Sansa said as she came over.

"Indeed," I replied. "I remember our mothers sitting here talking about our possible engagements. How we could have been sisters."

"Yes," Sansa said, giving a sad smile. "Of course, I was a stupid girl."

"You were naïve, and only thirteen," I reminded. "Never stupid."

Sansa gave a smile, "We might share a grandchild someday."

"It is possible," I smiled back. "But let them know each other before whisking them off to the capital as our parents did with you."

Sansa nodded in agreement, as our attention turned to Cedric talking with Lyanna. The young girl was blushing from my son's compliments. Derek leaned over and messed with Cedric's locks, causing the young man to protest. Olenna and the twins chuckled. Suddenly Lyanna gasped when some food struck her in the face. She looked around until her eyes landed on her brother.

"EDDARD!" Lyanna screamed.

The young boy laughed as he tried to escape. Sansa and I chuckled, for it brought memories of Arya. Sansa gave Jon a look to collect their son. He chuckled, shaking his head, before getting up and went down to collect the boy who protested.

"Parenting," I chuckled.

"I swear, they are more Stark than Tully," Sansa agreed.

"Same, my children seem more Tyrell or Hightower, yet they still have the Baratheon fury when needed. Cedric is like my father when it comes to tournaments." I said.

Sansa nodded, "Fifteen years. The gods blessed us a short winter and a new dynasty. If only Arya were here to be with us."

"She might be beating Lord Gendry," I jest.

We chuckled, knowing the short affair those two had. Still, Lady Arya has not been seen for ten years. She, with volunteers, went on an adventure through the Sunset Sea to see what lies West of Westeros. The Starks and I funded the expedition, for we all were curious about what lies beyond. Was it the edge of the world, the other side of Essos, or many a new continent? Hopefully, one day, Arya will return with her tales of adventure. As for Gendry, he has been doing well as Lord of Storm's End and Warden of the Stormlands. The training was difficult, in learning politics, but the council Lord Steffon assigned for him was excellent that the Stormlands have been of peace. He even married, though his wife passed a few years prior to the childbed as he raises his son Davos.

When the feast of food was settled, it was time to dance. It was the Northman style, yet, before the actual dancing begins, my girls got up to do a small performance for the guest of the Southerner dance. Everyone was in awe that even the younglings came to join. But soon, everyone was bouncing in the dance. Derek being the overprotective brother, danced with Olenna, with the occasional dances with the twins. Cedric being a gentleman, danced with Lyanna. By that time, many of the younger children were off to bed. As Robert, Robb, and Rodrick went to their rooms.

Even I had a chance to dance. I was having a few dances with King Rickon, Jon, Derek, and Cedric. Willas got up when a slow, smooth melody played. It made my day since it has been a long time since we danced together. Over the years, there were saying love blossoms over time then dies. However, over the nineteen years of marriage, our love stayed strong.

By the time the feast ended, we had gone to our room, changed into our evening clothes, and cuddled. Willas secured an arm around my waist while my head rested on his shoulder.

"Cedric and Lyanna seemed to be getting along," Willas noted.

"Well, I did teach our sons to be courteous towards the opposite sex," I reminded.

We do not want our children to become like Joffrey.

Willas kissed the top of my head, "You've done better than your Mother. We have six healthy children. Derek will become a good king, Olenna and the twins will be intelligent wives that Grandmother would be proud of, Cedric a dedicated knight, and Robert…He will give us a heart attack from his adventures."

I chuckled, "He's like Oberyn in a sense. Then again, Oberyn spoils him with his stories."

Willas chuckled and nodded.

I sighed, moving, so I was straddling his waist. Willas raised a brow giving a sexy smile. I smiled back before leaning down and kissing him. We were getting older, but we have young souls. Nothing can stop us.

.o0o.

It was morning as the family and I went to the Northside of Winterfell on the field where the battle of the Long Night took place. The Barricade was no more, the trenches filled in, and the scorched grounds were now green. I remember how it looked, covered in bodies and burning. The number of wights and fallen soldiers. Now, all that remained was a monument dedicating to the men and women who gave their lives.

Up in the sky was Viserion and Rhaegal as the two dragons fly about. It was summer, though not at warm or humid as King's Landing. I knelt before the monument giving a prayer, paying my respects. It wasn't long when Sansa and Jon came over. This was how things are. The Targaryens were gone by name, but their blood continues in us. Primarily the bloodline of Aegon the Unlikely, the Targaryen who believed in love and politics. Jon glanced at me, and I gave a nod of respect towards him.

The past is the past.

The mistakes of our fathers have led us to this moment.

.o0o.

And so, the seasons pass and the years pass, and all of Westeros grow in gratitude to the Doe Queen and the King of Thorns. They made good laws and kept the peace. Elain Baratheon, first of her name, ruled over the Six of the Seven Kingdoms with grace alongside her husband Willas Tyrell. The two inherited the Iron Throne after the death of King Tommen the Young.

At the beginning of their reign, they dealt with many conflicts from the Destruction of the Great Sept of Baelor to the False Aegon Rebellion. During the Destruction of the Great Sept of Baelor, the young Queen faced the choices of justice by punishing the Queen Mother Cersei Lannister, who tried to escape her trial of horrendous acts. The second was the War of the Two Queen, against Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen along with her Unsullied soldiers and Dothraki screamers. However, dark clouds drew south from the Army of the Dead, which by the guidance of Jon Snow, formed an Armistice. All three joining forces to defeat the Army of the Dead. All three became dragon riders. However, the truce was broken when Daenerys sent her dragons to kidnapped Elain to join the battle in the Long Night.

Seeking to save his wife, King Willas sent Lord Steffon and trusted men to aid in the war, but also to attack Daenerys forces when least expected. Three days after the Long Night was the Massacre of Winterfell. In which Elain killed Daenerys Targaryen during the conflict. Thus, ending the war. Let alone dealt with the Euron Greyjoy, who attempted to form a coup to overthrow the Crown.

The two reigned for thirty years.

During the beginning of their reign, the Queen gave the North and the Iron Islands their independence. After five years, the King and Queen rebuilt King's Landing, innovating in their new dynasty called the Golden Renaissance, building a new Sept and a museum dedicated to previous kings, Hands, and Grandmaesters who have passed and providing a freshwater and sewage system to cleanse the city. Provided education and the arts to the common people.

They ruled fair and just. Most importantly, during their thirty years of their reign, sired six children.

The Crown Prince Derek, who became a knight and soon Hand of the Queen before inheriting the throne. Married to Helia Martell.

Princess Olenna married Lord Kelvin Tully, securing the relationship between the Crown and the Riverlands.

Prince Cedric, who became a knight at age sixteen, joined the Royal Stags later becoming the Commander of the named unit — married Lyanna Stark, securing the relationship between the Starks and Baratheon/Tyrell.

Princess Joanna, who married Prince Nymero Martell, the son of Princess Arianne, securing the relationship of Dorne.

Princess Cassana, who married a Lord in Pentos securing trade in Essos.

And atlas Prince Robert, knighted at age eighteen serving his family and became Master of War.

All six children made their parents proud as Queen Elain and King Willas ruled for thirty years. When the time was right, the Queen abdicated the throne and crowned her son Derek as King. Both retired to the Reach, living alongside Ser Garlan and Lady Leonette in Highgarden.

Yet not all can live forever, for Willas Tyrell passed at the age of seventy-five from infection in his leg. As for Elain, she survived her husband returning to King's Landing to be with her children. She lived up to the age of eighty, dying in her sleep surrounded by her children.

Leaving a legacy that will last a thousand years.
