I love it. I remember when instigated that bullshit rule. I was pissed too when they decided that merely labeling stories as 'Teen' and 'Mature' weren't enough, but that they had to actually take the mature fics off the site. We all stopped (m friends and I ) coming here and reading most of the writers I liked had either stopped posting here in retaliation, or had been kicked off because of their graphically violent and/or sexual scenes. This is why I'm glad we have sites like and (though since shut down a couple of years ago, people are a bit weary of going back). The censorship on this site really was the beginning of its steep decline into a hot mess. I find myself only able to come here for those few authors that I love that have been here since the beginning of the site and hold onto a perverse sense of loyalty.

All in all, I definitely feel your pain. I find it amusing that they even cut their name out of your author's note at the end. Assholes. You can't even critique them without them breathing down your neck. It's disgusting.

Oh dear. I think I've become so accustomed to reading NC-17 stories now that I feel like I'm lying when I say "I don't like lemons". Well... I guess I don't, not really. And I feel guiltly when I read explicit stories because I don't think I should. But I have... I mean, there's been other times that I've skipped. Well, skimmed. There's at least one story that is nothing but a lemon, and that I LOVE. It's my favorite one-shot. It's REALLY good. Man. This is bad. Drat! Do I like lemons? I don't know. I don't think so... Ep!

This rant is amusing. And I think the best part is when Sango comes in saying "I CAN'T FIND MIROKU!" and then later when they're like "Oh. I guess we've lost Miroku forever then." For some reason that sounds like something Shippou would say. I don't know why. T_T

I like the way they're sort of in character, but kind of not. I don't know how to explain it. It's like The Coffee Break Room on my roleplaying site. The CBR room is where we pretend like our characters are actors on a TV show, and are taking their Coffee Breaks. It's a lot of fun to write about them like that and it's a pretty unique feature of my site. XD Anyway, that's what it reminds me of.

And I agree that it's not fair for FF to take those kind of measures. They went back on that decision now though, didn't they?

I'm rather new to the site and therefore the NC-17 rating had already been removed. But I agree with the sentiment. This is a site that is supposed to allow people to explore their ideas and recieve feedback. But from 's point of view. They have to worry about the concervative American population laying the blame on them for their childrens bad behavior, as this same society is trying to do with video games and movies and books. had to do something or there may not have been a site to express ANY ideas. I say it is better to have a confined place to express ideas rather than no place at all. So though anger I think is justified I think it needs to be aimed at the people who are focing such moves to be taken. Just my two cents.
