The only thing I lament here is that we didn't get to see the awkward reunion of Glóin and Thranduil while Gimli and Legolas are silently begging them to PLEASE be civil. Well, mostly Legolas, but still. Absolutely wonderful, love it! |

I was touched by the fact that it didn't seem tawdry- while I may have a place and liking for them, too many fics pass into the realm of author's desires and smut before paying homage to the characters that inspired the work. |

So often we lose their characters and the distinct characterizations of the elves and dwarves in the love story. I am happy to say that i really enjoyed this story and this often badly done pairing works extremely well. Excellent story (now write more please) :) |
