Sniff, I love Uncle Bobby the warm and loving pseudo father to the boys even more than gruff curmudgeonly hunter/fixer Bobby. You write so well in his voice, I can almost hear Jim Beaver in my head.

Amazing, I could hear the actor's voice as I read this. Even the syntax seems accurate for Death. Stellar work Lily.

God - this just kills me. I'm so teary-eyed I can barely see to type. Thanks for this. My mother died in 2013 and even though I'm in my mid-40s, I miss her desperately. I loved thinking of Dean this way as a parent to Sam, and how proud he would have been to see "his" kid walking. Thanks for sharing your talent with these.

LOL - perfect Charlie. I would love to see a letter from Sam to Charlie after her death saying "goodbye" and expressing remorse. And I'd love to see one to Charlie from Dean confessing that he loved her like a sister. Finally, I would love to see one from Dean to Sam forgiving him for Charlie's death and apologizing for the horrible thing he said. (The cruelest thing Dean ever did was when they were burning Charlie and Dean tells Sam that "it should have been you." Perhaps the only time Dean ever wished Sam dead.)

Anyway, just some suggestions if you are in the mood.

These are awesome! :) I love the dean/Sam ones the best! I do have to say though one from jo or Ellen would be nice. Or to them. I mean they died killing hell hounds hello! I do have to say one I'd really like to see is Sam talking to dean about being a man of letters. S8. Can't remember the episode name but the first time they find the bunker and Dean ask Sam if he'll become a man of letters. Sam DIDN'T respond! He looked like he was going to but didn't! So ya if you could write Sam's thoughts it'd be awesome! :)

Whoaa didn't realize how much I missed these letters until this moment haha I'm glad to see you've added on, and this was a good one. I like that you took that one line that Sam said from soooo long ago and applied it to so many situations over the years. It's cool to see how far they've come and how despite everything they've been through, those core values and beliefs that both brothers hold still stay the same- they would still do anything to save each other, no matter how many times it ends in disaster or worse. I really liked this line near the end:

"See, it's easy for someone to say they won't give up on a person, but to actually prove it is a whole other beast."

The Winchesters have never been much for words. It's always been about the things they will DO to protect and save one another that mean the most, and that line encapsulated that concept quite swimmingly P. And this, I think, was (were) my favorite line(s) of the whole piece:

"It was in that moment that I actually understood the extent of what you'd said that night so long ago. The depth of what 'no matter what you say' meant to you. It wasn't just about words, but actions and beliefs and literally anything I could possibly do to hurt you. No matter what, period, you'd always have my back."

Like. Just. Yeah. Yes. Mhmmm. Hot diggity. Haha but really, that's a great little section. And I say that I 'think' that is my favorite line, because it might be tied with the last two, particularly the beginning of the first one:

"To plagiarize the words of a good man..."

That's basically one of the best compliments the brothers can give to one another, and in many ways he's 'double quoting' Sam, who stressed the fact that he knows Dean is a good man throughout that entire (HEARTWRENCHING) scene in the restaurant in 10x23. I just loved that you played with that, and I loved that throughout this letter, you never lost Dean Winchester's voice (not that I'm surprised). Well done.

I guess it's time to close my mouth. What a jaw dropping surprise! I loved it LB. I truly did. Dean's heartfelt words to Sam in this letter were perfect. Loved the fact that Dean couldn't bring himself to repeat Sam's words to him in that kitchen conversation. He's still not over that is he. This wonderfully written letter made my birthday a special day. Thank you, sweet girl. You are amazing. You have already given me something wonderful LB. Time to go wipe my eyes.
