This was a very different story style to the usual, but nonetheless highly intriguing. I like your writing style and can imagine it to develop even more beautifully in longer shots or stories. It was a nice idea with the kennings, it was very sweet and thought-provoking at some points. The ending was bliss; any Hiccstrid offspring-OC is.

Though it's been more than a year since this sequence was published, I had to leave a review. These are beautiful, poetic and perfect and complete in their brevity and concision. Astrid is indeed many things, all of them adding to the totality of her character. Thank you for a brief but beautiful depiction of growing up.

This is one of the most amazing fics I've ever read. I am seriously freaking out- the research, the structure, the characterization... Each drabble is perfect: the implied emotions and actions, the poetic descriptions, the wry humor. And all in perfect 100 word slices.

I wish I could fave this a billion times. UGH.
