Even though the ending started spiraling more into the movie-verse, the beginning was all your own and the words read beautifully. Your style is very poetic. I liked the added details of how they took routine walks and shared minds. It's something I can see happening behind the scene. I think this is a nice homage to an equally nice film.

Not what I expected, but it's certainly a very beautiful way of telling the story. I wished there were more stories told like this.

I really did love this and it reminded me of a book called The Rose and the Beast: Fairy Tales retold by Francesca Lia Block. I highly recommend it for you if you haven't read it!
