As answer to the question in the author's note about customers to Ryo's booth:
(in order) Kondou, Toujou, Hijikata, Tsukuyo (Seeing as she wanted a love fortune with Gintoki, I thought she might be Sacchan, but as the latter appears later, I changed my opinion. Especially because of the accent you put in her first dialogue), Sho chan, Sacchan, Katsura and Sougo.
Now on to my ranting... BWAHAHAHAHAHA reading Sougo's perspective is SO FUN! Especially when he is in denial. In the scene where Hasegawa san abruptly agreed to giving her the toy, at first I thought that Sougo paid for it but then you showed his shaking and nervousness, I was like, "SOUGO, DID YOU THREATEN HIM?"
I LOVE SOYO CHAN! That scene was especially amazing. I could picture the adorableness as Gin chan hauled her out of the house.
Speaking of amazing scenes and loving characters, HA-SAN! I have only known her for one scene but I love her. The way she handled Kenji's babbling when he almost bumped into her, the way she assessed the scene in the... room? where they were dressing up Ryou and most of all how she responded to 16 year old Ryou when he made fun of her.
What else? Oh yeah, Ryou's advice to Sougo was a big mistake on his part as the Shinsengumi already knows (or believes) that he loves her and that the fact that he isn't getting much success in that direction is what is causing his foul mood. Since the problem here is Kagura's feelings or lack thereof, trying to make Sougo yearn for her more while the other party still doesn't share the sentiment in the slightest is the stupidest move that I can think of. Maybe he is hoping that Sougo himself confessing would improve the outcome, I don't know.
That end's my rant. In conclusion, I love this story and I love your writing and hope you continue soon.

I have to say, those guys thoroughly deserved the jail time. I had hoped that Kagura would take Sougo with her to the warehouse (though I knew that it wouldn't happen) so that he finally finds out what was going out but I loved how you actually showed him finding out (or getting close, at least). I would have loved to see him interrogate them about it but him simply disowning them was much better and in character.
Bottom line, I loved this chapter's second half when the kidnappers got their just deserts.

The scene with Gin Chan comforting Kagura was SO ADORABLE! I could visualize the entirety of it and I wanted to draw it so badly. Unfortunately, I have decided not to draw my own version of someone else's drawing anymore.
The scene with Sougo finding the sukonbu was so amazing. I only wish he had stayed silent a bit longer so that they spilled their plans. I really want to know what will happen when he finds out.
Also, I love the Shin and Ryo dynamic.

I LOVE THIS. I love the Shinsengumi as you have shown them. I haven't completely watched Gintama (I skipped part of the Shinsengumi Crisis Arc because I couldn't bear to watch Hijikata humiliated) but I have felt that aside from Kondou, Hijikata, Sougo and Yamazaki (and Itou I suppose) the Shinsengumi members didn't really get much spotlight. I especially loved the scene where everyone just put Shin forward as a sacrifice at the Yorozuya door.
One thing I would like to correct about the Shinsengumi, though, is that Hijikata is not a Taichou but the Fukuchou. He is the Vice Chief, one rank above Sougo.
I really want to see the mature Kagura in this. I don't mean that I want her to lose her violent streak but... sorry, I don't know how to explain it. I liked how you portrayed their feelings in this. They are not too lovey dovey as shown in a few other fanfictions that I have read but they are slowly realizing. It's a nice way of showing the transition.
Also, isn't the Shinsengumi uniform black and not navy blue?

Woah! This story is simply perfect! Your writing is perfect. The scenes are perfect. All characters are perfect. Everything is perfect. I felt like watching Gintama while I read your story. This story made me laugh so much! None of the characters were OOC. They were in character. Actually, nothing was OOC. Also, your OCs were so entertaining. I would believe if you said 'Sorachi Hideaki created them'. If there had OkiKagu moments in anime, I think it would be like this. xD

By the way, I know it has been 6 years since you updated but I hope you continue and update this perfect story! I understand if you don't want to continue, of course! It will still be one of my favourite OkiKagu fanfictions

Except for two or three grammar mistakes you've got a pretty nicely worded piece of art here. I really liked the introduction of new characters and you hit the nail on the head on how certain people who act in certain situations almost all the time (which is something I find myself struggling with at times).

The only problem I have with this fanfiction is that you do not continue it. I know it might be hard but don't you yourself want to know how this story goes on? I definitely do.

Ok so it’s been five years since you updated. And I just need to say. You need to update this soon! 2018 and it was updated 5 years ago... but I’ll wait. And I’ll hope for a continue for this!
