Poignance. That's what strikes me about this, the fic captures the Beckett/Castle relationship and dialogue because of it. Perfect balance too.

You did a good job capturing Beckett's voice, but Castle wasn't quite there for me. Maybe it's the perspective. Doing a part 2 from Castle's perspective might flesh out his voice a little more.
