Oh wow this was really good. :D Very effective storytelling. While the premise of the story is not entirely original (but what is, these days?) your presentation made it its own. It had lost of personality, and was very well written, and really I just loved it to pieces. :3

And of course the theme and plot were fun to read, too :) (You essentially managed to write a fantastic, yet sensible-sounding, bamf!Merlin moment, sandwiched in bromance and epic wins.
