Ideas for angst, huh? Done anything with Sanji's family background, now that we know what that is? Or maybe an encounter with a devil fruit user whose ability lets them do (or fake) some kinda spirit medium/communication with the dead sort of thing? Garp and Luffy meeting for the first time after Ace's execution?

As a follow up to this one, though, I need Robin to tease Zoro about whether or not he intends to accept the proposal! :P

I don't really like violence, but the love and camaraderie that shines through every kick sanji makes is worth it. I love how he and zoro fight over everything, but are so willing to fight for another.

This was so much fun to read! Absolutely nailed it on the darker aspects of the Strawhat's desire to do absolutely anything to protect their nakama. I'd imagine that Sanji in particular is willing to do some of the more unsavory aspects to keep the others safe. And I can absolutely see him keeping this from the others, either to protect their innocence or because he's not willing to let them soil their hands like he so often does for their sakes. Although, I imagine Robin would be aware, and to some extent Nami and Usopp. And Luffy, while not directly torturing people, would show his fury in a more roundabout way. Like ignoring the marines that get harmed as collateral damage, and basically being an unsmiling and serious person (and isn't that a scary thought!)

Oh my word, this was completely and utterly AMAZING. I really like how you showed Sanji's anger against those who hurt his nakama and the emotion at the end just slapped me across the face. Absolutely amazing writing. I love it.

Very interesting. I agree with your assessment that this just wouldn't really have suited Luffy. Sanji on the other hand has a much more volatile temperament and though he generally reserves his fits of fury for defending the ladies, I could see him snapping if someone were to hurt one of his male nakama badly enough. Not sure if this is quite how I would have pictured that situation in my mind but it was well done just the same. I love Sanji and Zoro's complex rival/partner/brother relationship. I could see him getting pretty mad if that was threatened...just as long as Zoro wasn't conscious to witness his own defense. lol
