I really like this. Its philosophical and intriguing. I agree with Truth in this case. One of my favorite songs is called "Oh Say, What Is Truth?"

Wow. That was really deep, well thought-out, and most importantly, well done.

I especially like that ending line-and it really sheds a whole new life onto what the Truth does, when it punishes those who trespass on Human Life, and perform alchemy's greatest taboo. It's almost like those words in the Bible-if your eye causes you to sin, or any other part for that matter, it should be removed to prevent further harm. Izumi wanted to have a child, so the Truth took away that ability-since it led to human transmutation. Edward wanted to stand on his own two feet, so he lost his leg-and that ability as a result. And through losing that ability, and the events that transpired, everyone not only learned from their mistakes, but grew beyond the attribute that led to their sin, becoming better people as a result.

Thanks for reminding me about that last part, Truth. I'll make sure I won't forget it again.

This is actually really meaningful. The entire time during the series, most people are like "OH NOES ITS THAT CREEPY WHITE OUTLINE GUY HE'S GONNA BE FAIR BUT CRUEL".

But this makes lots of sense. I wouldn't be surprised if the original mangaka had a similar idea behind the design.
