Poor Cas
I love that someone took the time to write that period from Castiel's POV
It's so easy to forget that Cas hadn't been AIMING to be a power hungry douchebag, he'd had to make some really difficult choices. In the middle of fighting a war, no less.

OH the heartbreak. If I had read this during season 6, no doubt I would be in tears!

oh. My heart is breaking for Cass. Easy to forget what he was doing when he wasn't with the boys, it's nice he showed for Dean's birthday despite everything though.

This one was surprising. In the positive sense of course. I never thought that it was possible to turn such a fluffy ptompt into a really good, dark, angsty story.

Man, heartbreaking. I adore this perspective, something we never really saw on the show. Beautiful work.

Made me sad. For Cas and his circumatances, but also gave me hope for his cause and made me proud he's willing to fight his fight.
Despite the overwhelming 'Sad'. it was done so beautifully, so amazing. The words were brilliant and they came alive - like I was watching the battles and not simply reading them.
The motel didn't need to have every detail given to me; I've seen SPN enough to know what the places Sam and Dean stay in look like. But you still managed to provide a picture stat was perfect enough I felt that I landed in that room right along with Cas.

Oh man oh man. I just love it when an author catches me in the first paragraph like you did! I'm sure you know how disappointing it is to click open what you think will be a great fic only to realize you are unable to loose yourself in the writing-well you are no disappointment! Great imagery, great characterization, great writing!

This was a great piece! I think you captured Castiel in a wonderful way, and the way you write his thoughts; Wow! It's so heartbreaking, but still so brilliantly written. I like when things are more heavy and sad and terrible, it gives it a bit more substance to me. Makes me care more. And important moments becomes more important! So thank you for this story, like your writing-style very much!

Buhh. More crying about a show I haven't even seen what is thiiiis. Love the repetition in the mantra Castiel repeats to himself. Everything is just so...sad. And regretful. Wahhh.
