I love your writing style and the story is nice, but i can't see river as part of a pairing. I mean... how much age difference is there between them? She's, like, a teenager.

Interesting concept. I like your unconventional take on the 'sins'. The phrasing is hard to follow at times and I think it's because there are some parts where words are unintentionally missing. You might want to go back and check that.

I like that River tells Inara almost everything, but keeps that part of her and Mal to herself. Not that Inara doesn't know. I particularly like the way you have the Pride tie in only to Inara knowing things, rather than actually being proud. It's not quite the same, is it?

Well done. Jayne has a family now. Thought you captured Jayne well. Loved how much he wants Shepherd's approval.
