You did a really good job with a character combination and situation that could be seen as overdone. You really brought a new angle to a possible K/S relationship, and I enjoyed it. Kudos to you!

Great story! I'm not normally a big fan of Pon Farr stories, but yours is definitely an exception. I think it is perfect and I love when Jim confesses that he was going to ask Spock to marry him.

Maybe you should write a story where Jim actually does propose. I think that would be a very interesting read.
