I'm interested in seeing how this story plays out. I'm sure that Harry was taken back down by his adopted papa, but I wonder if it recognized James. Gaah! How exciting, I can't wait for an update.

Hagrid is dead, good, what did they expect attacking a baby squid, that they weren't sentient and thus wouldn't miss their family? Wizards get what they deserve, they live in a world of sentient beast and still believe they can do whatever they want without repercussions ...

GOds! how could they! poor harry! his foster father was just trying to protect him! and did foster father manage to save harry? there was alot on the fight scene but nothing about what happened to harry.

awesome chapter... and that end just about ripped me a new one...

though, didn't neville get his rememberball later in the story (by post), and what is harry forgetting...

how did sirus and james know where harry was in the lake?

and finally... go papa giant squid...

When telling people's sizes by comparing to an existing character be sure the reader knows the size of said character...Harry in this case.

I figured it would only cause excitement in Great Britain.

"James awkwardly whirled himself around. A solid row of mermen warriors stared him down." I thought in GoF that the mermen were afraid of wizards becauase they possessed wands.

Huh...you diffenently had the shock value there with Dumbledore dead, but instead of it being gasp...he's dead? It came off as Where the FUCK did that come from!

I also think the fight scene lasted a few paragraphs too long, it just seemed to drag, though I will admit that the fighting was a lot clearer this time around. Good job on the descriptions, too.

wow...this is something that you don't get to see everyday. I've been on for almost eight years now, and I don't recall ever seeing a Harry-squid fic. Hats off to your originality, i hope you continue your story till the end :)

Wow. Harry the Squid who Lived? Talk about original. I've seen him become a Vampire, Veela, Goblin, Dragon, Snake, Werewolf, Phoenix, Unicorn, Demon, God and a dozen other variants... But never a sea creatur, much less a squid. Like it.
