This was great! It can be challenging to write from a more disoriented POV, and you did it very well with Dean. And I'm a sucker for anything that shows John as a good dad. :) A lot of fics tend to portray him as a complete drill sergeant, but I never really saw that reflected in the show. I think you nailed him. Great job!

I like how you showed Dean's worry over Sam even though Sam hadn't been hunting with them for a while. Your interpretation of Dean's ever-present attitude was right-on and made me smile. Good read.

I really enjoyed this story. I assume John is not going to call Sam and let him know. Poor Dean! His leg is in traction. He definitely won't be going home soon.
