This is an absolutely beautiful story! I admit I was really confused in the begining because you said no character death but it all made sense later. They definitely should have done more with this episode - this scene especially. We all know how much he means to her. Anyway, wonderful story - beautiful composition. I loved it!

While I really loved this story, there's just one thing that confused me. Who is Bones mourning? If Booth is the one to find her at the grave, whose grave is it? Apart from that, excellent story. I could almost feel the rain on my face as I read.

That was great. I'm glad you had the characters deal with the emotional fallout here. The show kinda swept it under the rug pretty fast.

That was amazing. After I finished reading The Bet, I was dying for more of your eloquent words. You did an incredible job with this. It's obvious that his death had some sort of impact on her, and I think you addressed it well. Beautiful.

this is really lovely. I don't think the writers really addressed the amount of damage his "death" did to her enough. when she slugs him it's obvious she's passionately upset, but they don't really carry it further than that. it would be nice to see the anniversary addressed, hopefully in a fashion even a little bit as elegantly as you have.

The ending, tugged at my heartstrings and I'm thinking that as much as you loved writing this, I probably loved reading it more.
