I KNOW it's been forever since this fic has been updated. 3 I still reread this many times over the past several years. It's such a beautiful in depth fic and I love the characterization so much - my fave dinotrap fic, hands down. I know the fic is not going to be finished, which leaves me with sorrow, but alas all I can do is leave a comment of great appreciation and thanks for sharing this lovely story with so many others! It's been a wild ride.

Aw man, I was hoping against hope that this might have gotten an update (this year is the 20th Anniversary of BW). I originally read this years ago, when you were actively writing it. This fic is just too good damned to let go and fade into the ether. Your username is definitely a misnomer-you absolutely have talent! By now I'm sure you've moved on to bigger and better things, and don't check this site any longer, but darn it. I really enjoy reading this from time to time as the characterizations were really spot on especially with how they spoke/speech patterns. (I always liked Dinobot's inner monologues and loved when you had Primal thinking that he was in charge of the Pit, at one point. LOL). The story really sucks you right in and I was very curious as to where you were going to take this. Ah well. I wish you the best, and will still periodically pop back in to check out one of my favorite TF stories.

I re-read this fic for the first time in probably six years, and honestly, it's just as good as I remember it. This was one of the first really long fic I got invested in while it was still updating, and reading this again is making me really nostalgic. Given that it's been like half a decade since it's been updated, I've only got the tiniest bits of hope left that it'll be finished :(, but I understand real life butting its nose in. This fic is awesome, amazing, and one of the best Transformers fics I've ever read. :)

Ah, nice to have the good and gentle, caring Rhinox back! He's just worried for his unusual but dear bud, that's all; but wow, I love his conversation with Optimus. They both make pretty good points on Rattrap. As for Dinobot... well, you're definitely right about the angst part; if he's out even more than Tigatron, then that's gotta be saying something. Especially with this... semi-exile. Haha... And Cheetor, sweet, ever-perseptive Cheetor, knows it! I love this role you gave him here. Dinobot's eyes and mind need someone like this kitty-cat. A kitty-cat who, from the looks of it, needs someone like Dinobot, too. Aw! You shouldn't have held those words back, Dinobot! He... oh, anyway, I think you did more than enough, and that's all one can ask for. Gosh, you were right, why didn't they explore this dynamic of theirs in the show? It totally works and makes for good character development!

Ah, what's happening here is that both Dinobot and Rattrap want to protect each other; Rattrap from... well, anything that would hurt Dino or bad for him or would harm him, and Dinobot... from himself. Yeesh, what a story! You want character development? You get it here! You are really good at this. Seriously, how many times have I said that? :)

Ah, unstoppable, indeed. "Hesitation and doubt were usually the cause of failure, in his mind." You described Dinobot's character in that one part there. The swimming part and the rest? :) Yeah, that's him, all right. And Accidents happen" are, indeed, every man's famous last words. I mean, look at Rattrap. Almost there; half-cooked, half-eaten? Hahaha! That one actually made me giggle a bit... Dinobot calling him a "masochistic mouse" probably isn't that far off...
