Omg! I love this! Wouldnt it be perfect if we could see this on the show? U are a good story teller.. The words you choose, the emotion you put in those words really makes it so easy to read yet the weight of those feelings makes it unbearable at the same time.

I love chase. It pains me to know how he felt about himself. Then,there is house...whether he deliberately did what he did for Chase's sake because he cares, or he is just being his selfish self and want chase back just to use him is beyond me. But he kinda hugs chase so that means he does care, isnt he? Thanks to him, our beloved blond Aussie finally feel that overwhelming feeling of being the first.

Great story! I enjoyed reading it!

Wow. I really enjoyed this, and I do love your take on the doomed Chase/Cameron relationship. People still tend to romanticise them, whereas your fic seems to emphasize a lot of the things that were happening on the show: House wanting Chase back in 4-02, Cameron being shallow and insecure most of the time, and the sad fact that Chase accepts being second best for his own good because he is used to it. Tis sad, but also very true to the character. I'm glad that this story has a happy ending for Chase, he deserves!

Shameful of me to decide to review now after I have read this story many times over the past few years. This is, without a doubt, one of my favorite House-Chase fics. It's simple in its delivery, but dips nicely into a light depth we all enjoy when it comes to those two. Thanks for writing.
