You captured Dean's panic really well but didn't make him too sappy, and poor Sammy - getting strung up would really suck.

That was great! The part where Dean was struggling to cut Sam down and bring him back to life was so powerful! I was so tense reading it, and so relieved when Sam breathed!

I am once again just so amazed at the depth of your stories! All of them are just so good and this one certainly stands out. I loved 'Blowout' and some of your others, but I LOVED this story with Dean's desperation to save Sam and how lost he felt and panicked as he tried to save his little brother. I LOVED this story and GREAT JOB once again.

Okay, first of all, your opening scene could have been right out of the series! REALLY well done! It made me laugh out loud and pulled me straight in.

Secondly, you wrote quite a suspenseful scene as Dean found Sam hanging, couldn’t reach him, had to get the ladder, slipped, etc. You just did an excellent job giving us (or at least me) that awful, pit-of-your-stomach feeling of “the faster you want to go, the slower you feel like you are moving.”

Oh how I would love to have a nice dose of hanged Sam in S3... One can only hope ;) Great fic

This is a really nice oneshot. You managed to fit all the elements of a good story in one chapter. I especially liked the end part. I don't know what is wrong with me but anytime the prospect of Sam almost having "an accident" in a story and then Dean knowing and having to help Sam to the bathroom - I just melt. I guess because it stresses the big bro-little bro relationship - and I love little brother!Sammy. All the instances that make Sam seem young and Dean seem like classic older brother - love.

Just once I'd like to see what happens when Sam doesn't make it in time. Yes - I know - I'm sick.
