What I liked: The story was good and well written with a few spelling and grammar errors (but not enough to distract). The original character, Shishimaru, was a nice touch and you gave him a detailed and believable backstory. I liked Kimihiro's ability to see people's feelings, it was very fitting in the xxxHolic universe but reminded me of Canaan (which I like a lot).

What I didn't like: How much smut there was; personally if there's going to be detailed sex in a story I think it should only be once (depending on length of story). I didn't like Yuuko in this story because I think she drifted in and out of character too much so it was hard to picture her. Finally, I wasn't a huge fan of how the spirit world section was written like a video game with minions and a boss and everything. I think the fights were decently written but the whole thing made me think of SAO for some reason, which -though a great anime- is nothing like xxxHolic in feel.

Overall: I liked it. Good job. :)

Oh, that was lovely. I do so love Doumeki/Watanuki, and the possessiveness and the jealousy and the protectiveness and caring and... *happy sigh* You have a great sense of humor, and your action scenes had me at the edge of my seat. Wonderful work! Looking forward to the sequel c:

I know it's been ages but you need to write the sequel! You hinted so you better deliver (unofficial, impersonal, implied promises of something new to read still count)!

I'm loving the story so far, but one thing was bugging me. I was certain that the Japanese (like the Chinese) use the colour white as the colour of mourning. I don't know for sure because I haven't done any major research on Japan in a while... but I'm pretty sure that was the case.

Just for your information though. Its one of the little details that just seems to get to me.

Anyawy, other than that, so far I'm loving the fact that everyone is remaining in character. Not many authors can do romance without changing the character completely. (Like Harry Potter, he has been changed so much in fanfiction I'm not sure what his real personality is any more.)

I like your story ! I like Shishimaru, i thing it's a good character and i was sad for him but i definitly prefer Doumeki !

So what is the deal with the Nadare and Hana thing? what did Domeki do to piss off the dragon clan? Did he rape her and she commited suicide or something. or what was it.
