This is one absolutely amazing story, the redemption and acceptance dynamic are unparalleled. It's a Hell of a story one that I would love to read a sequel to.

Learning Curve is a Buffy/Willow, Faith/Tara Season 4 romance fic. The premise of the fic is that Faith feels Buffy giving up and shows up to warn Willow and Tara ... things snowball from there.

I understand this is one of your earliest stories, so most of my criticisms are null and void at this point. Anyway...

Buffy's suicidal tendencies are what spark Faith to warn the Scoobies, but that particular point is never developed - Buffy is perfectly fine after some pillow talk with Willow. Meanwhile, Faith and Tara's relationship seems to jump rather quickly from caring friendship to romance. I understand you're writing this on a limited timeline of a few days, but it seems to be developing kind of fast...

Faith's character development is very good - she takes the first step of caring about what happens to Buffy at the beginning and ends up symbolically fixing everything that's gone wrong. Her character dynamic with Tara (alas, we see two lines between them in the whole show) is great too.

The plotline overall was pretty good, although I was sad to see Spike go in such an ignominious way. The adaption of the Season 4 climax to fit Faith was pretty ingenious, although I fail to see the connection between the spirit of the First Slayer and the Powers that Be.

Overall, it's a pretty solid story that's definitely worth a read, if only because of the rare pairings of Faith/Tara and Buffy/Willow.

Loved Tara's character in this story and way she fit with Faiths character perfectly balancing eachother. Is a shame isn't pairing see more of :))

How could you kill Spike?

this was a lot of fun to read. excellent portrayal of high levels of emotional angst. The Willow and Buffy hookup was unexpected. I really didn't see that one coming. I like how you wrote Tara character in this story: silk steel. Nice attention to details with the senses and the use of the slayer sense was well done. thanks for putting this together.

Whopper of a story. Would like to see it continue-Faith in school (the concept boggles my mind!).
