I love this story! The premise is so utterly adorable and it's so easy to see that Daniel would volunteer at a home and of course they'd all adopt him and decide to meddle with his (lack of) love live. Again, utterly adorable.

This is the second story of yours I've read and I'm even more impressed this time. It's a well-done and beautiful story, I could almost feel the emotions in a few of the scenes.

Having Daniel visit the nursing home fit in perfect with how I see him, and the confusion between Sam and Daniel seemed natural. You did a great job with Dottie and her friends, she reminded me a bit of my own grandmother.

I've only recently started reading Stargate fanfiction and must say I'm quite glad I ran into your stories. Having only really watched the first four or five seasons, and an occasional episode after that, I never really pictured Daniel and Sam together. After reading a few Sam/Daniel stories I think I may need to rent the dvds and watch some of them again.

I've been following your stories for a while now and have been enjoying them immensely. I just had to comment after reading this chapter. The whole angle with Daniel visiting the ladies in the nursing home is just classic. It is something I can picture him doing since he himself is often alone. When they all decend on him in his home I laughed so hard that I cried. Teal'c would not take kindly to such an unpredictable threat. Anyway, great work. You have a sensativity to the chracters as well as a sense of the ridiculous that makes for good reading.

Aww. Dottie and her friends are really something else! How sweet of them to insist on visiting Daniel and give him and Cam nice gifts! I liked how Dottie was sort of "dropping hints" to Sam. Sneaky! ;)

Was a bit sad reading about Sam and Daniel's argument and what the result was. I can imagine how Sam must have felt when she returned to the house and went up to Daniel's room. Being terrified of losing Daniel makes her realize just how much he means to her in every aspect.
