Indeed! A nice little whodunit. And as in all good examples of that gengre, there is no chance whatsoever to guess the right culprint before the great detective spills the beans. Hermione is great as a detective, her interacting with Draco, as well as Snape's interaction with Poppy, is absolutly charming. Dobby...

well, if I have one chritisism, it is that the crime is not only to give the two most hated humans at hogwarts a little slap. Involving an unforgivable curse and muggle drugs, it is far worse that a pun or trick. I simply don't think Dobby would have performed such a serious crime, or that Hermione and the other would have regarded it with such ease. But apart from that - splendid!

Haha. That took me a couple readings of the last bit to realize what was being said there. Once I figured it out, though, you have no idea how hard I laughed. Which is unusual, as I hardly ever really laugh out loud when I'm reading.:)

How disturbing! I do love Hermione as a detective, though. I always enjoy the complexity of your plots - it's something I find particularly difficult to manage myself. Well done!

hah, this is nice! actually i don't like crime stories or things like that, but this one was interesting. i like the way you write dialogs,you know, without saying "he said" or "she answered". great stuff!

and i like the fact that the elves did it. :-) didn't think about that when i read your fanfic! is this one of your first ones?
