At the beginning of the story, you had some mixing of past and present tense. Other than that, I saw no errors. Good job.

Beautifully written, and the implication in the ending was just... powerful, and somehow incredibly manga-like. I know "human sacrifice" thats always plopping up in the story is no this, but really could be.

I definitely think Hawkeye would have a breakdown though, just as you wrote. And I'd hope that Havoc and the others would be there to help her.

Roy being a humunculous though? *Shudders* I think an even more interesting thought to have though is whether Riza (particularly) would follow him, even if he isn't what he was before... Or, if she'd feel absolutely set in needing to destroy the abomination of Roy.

Wow. A haunting but truly fantastic and original fic. I know you said it was a "what if?" but this has some great potential. Are you sure it should just be a one-shot? Can we twist you arm to continue this?

Hey! I love the storyline. The detail was breathtaking, and I think that elaborating on this story, that you'll do just as good. I loved it so much, and I felt horrible for the fact that Roy was killed inside his own office. What suprised me is how did no one not know that he was killed in his office? Did they not hear him? Was there a scuffle? Was Roy fighting for his life? Or did he just allow himself to be killed?

But I think that you captured the characters perfectly. But I ask of you: can you continue this story? I hope that you do. and I will be glad if you do.
