Reviews for Happily Ever After 1 The Stepsister's Tale
Sera dy Relandrant chapter 1 . 5/24/2006
This is SO fav - why don't you continue?
Sleepingbear chapter 1 . 12/18/2004
Very nice.

I love stories that challenge conventions and this does so nicely.

Actually, it's more in tune with some of the original faerie tales.

While taken to an extreme, this story nicely demonstrates that one sisters happy ending meant the end of certain happy dreams for others.
Pilgrim chapter 1 . 12/17/2004
You missed the whole point. This is a story about guilt. Cinderella has forgiven her family because bitterness wouldn't allow her to live 'happily ever after.' They know they don't deserve it. Their own guilt over that undeserved forgiveness destroys them more thoroughly than any deliberate revenge.

Love your enemies - they really hate that.
Duraiken chapter 1 . 12/12/2004
Good story. While I don't entirely understand it, I did notice the insinuation, though I'm fairly certain it was more than that, that this Cinderella (that is what this story is, isn't it?) isn't necessarily a "good little girl" like in the Disney version. Again, good story.
Melissa Montgomery chapter 1 . 9/26/2003
Bravo. One of the best stories I've read here. Beautifully plotted and played out. I hope this shows up in print someday.
