The Spinner’s Wheel - What if Rhaegar and Robert had both died at the Battle of the Trident but Tywin had still sacked King's Landing and had Elia and her children killed? What if Lyanna's infant son, whose claim to the throne was upheld by the Kingsguard present at the Tower of Joy, had been crowned king with Jon Arryn as Regent? And what if, to secure her son's inheritance, Lyanna had married Tywin? Lyanna/Tywin. Cersei/Viserys. Ned/Ashara.

The Lady of the Moon, the Knight of the Sun - What if Lyanna had been born a boy (Lyonel, fostered at Casterly Rock), and Rhaegar (Crown Princess Rhaenyra, betrothed to Robert Baratheon) had been a girl?

For the Children - What if Rhaegar had killed Robert at the Trident? What if Lyanna had survived? What if Aerys had burnt King's Landing down after Elia and her children had been spirited away?

Genderswap Peeta and Katniss. Peeta is born the only girl in the Mellarks' family, Katniss is the oldest son in the Everdeen household. With or without genderswap Prim (how else would male!Katniss volunteer for his beloved younger sibling) and Gale (for the ubiquitous love triangle). It's be interesting because Peeta embodies so many "characteristically feminine" qualities and Katniss so many "masculine" ones already. Also the trope of a man doing everything to save and care for the woman he loves is so much more common than vice versa.

The Suit of Swords - (Crossover of The Hunger Games/A Song of Ice and Fire) Theon Greyjoy calls himself the heir to Pyke, a boy from the greenlands. Katniss Everdeen is a thrall's daughter, surly and serving under his sister's command. What do they have in common? Black hair, grey eyes - and a way with a bow.
