Reviews for The Cost of Immortality
Rowena Bensel chapter 1 . 7/8
Oooooh! I likey! Very good! I know I hadn't read this one yet, so thanks for sharing this over here. A Cat!
Guest chapter 1 . 7/6
you posted it here! I've always liked reincarnation or immortal AUs where two characters still basically love each other despite the many years they have to grow apart and seeing a start to one of the latter like this is just so lovely. the developing relationship is so wonderfully subtle that by the end you know it's just going to be There, or at least there's always going to be a steady, beating, quiet heart to it alongside all the dramatic flirting that's going to inevitably happen.

I really like how it's mostly Haru's choices that move the plot? the story starts because she saw Baron and in a second she knew she wanted to help him, like in TCR where she saw Lune and in a second - just in time - she knew she wanted to help him. given that she's the first immortal in the relationship here I like how... monumental? how big? idk just. her agency matches her immortality. she's playing the long game here, even if that first decision was spur-of-the-moment.

also! the half! cat! aspect! was! explained! so well! idk I just wanted to say that because I remember thinking it when I first read this story.

I'm very glad you published it here because if I were to put this on your original post I think Tumblr might eat it.

Excellent. Cool story
Nanenna chapter 1 . 7/5
At least the three of them won't be completely lonely with eternity. But ohhhhh! It hurts! Masterfully written
Suzumehime chapter 1 . 7/5
I know this is only a one-shot, but I like this style of writing :)
CharlieBoneFan chapter 1 . 7/4
Nice job!
Woodswolf chapter 1 . 7/4
This is so sweet! I haven't read any of your fics in a few years but I came back for this because a oneshot can do no harm :) I'll try looking into the rest of your new stuff later too!
Old Toad chapter 1 . 7/4
A powerful, brilliant and accomplished story. It is markedly non-canon, but that didn't stop me enjoying it.
