I found this story after talking to Time Parad0x about his story Tesseract. I enjoyed, looks like Naruto and his team may be badass enough to save Uzu. Looking forward to more.

I like the concept for the story and how it’s set up. It could go with uzu falling or they could survive. I’m would like to see how they would do if they survived though. From the sounds of it most of the non combatants got out and only the wall got over run, and with Kiri on the run Kumo shouldn’t be able to last long. I wonder how Mito would take the news when she finds out Konoha betrayed Uzushio

Hi, just came across this story, and really enjoying it up to this point. I like how Naruto has come up with his own Hiraishin. It's interesting he has lightning and fire affinities, that's new. I don't think I've seen many stories where Naruto has those natures.

My issue with fire and lightning techniques though is that I don't see how it will become his signature. Wind complimented his rasengan. Asuma and Hiruzen uses ash based fire techniques, and the Uchiha is essentially the experts of fire techniques. Lightning and wind would probably compliment his Hiraishin more, quick efficient strikes rather than flashy mass destruction like fire. Still, it is interesting, looking forward to seeing what you'll come up with.

So, the Uzushio invasion has started. I don't think the new 40 warriors or so is enough to save the village from destruction, but unlike canon, it looks like Iwa isn't participating, which would probably play a bigger factor. I still think Uzushio is doomed though, but perhaps there is some fuuinjutsu last resort that can turn the tide.

I think if Uzushio survives, Konoha can find use in Uzushio as a staging area for invasions on kiri or kumo. Having the world's premier group of fuuinjutsu experts certainly helps as well. Kiri and Kumo might lose forces in this, but they also have the opportunity to plunder the techniques, knowledge and wealth amassed by Uzushio which can in turn be used against Konoha.

However if Uzushio must be destroyed, even then I assume there will be a lot more survivors. In a fic I recently read on here, both Nagato and Naruto were tasked by the uzukage to evacuate the children, and they took them to Ame and joined Hanzo. They initially tried to go to Konoha but it was revealed Konoha had sold them out. I think that would be good.

If they go to this AU Konoha, I can see them being used as breeding stock, and if they have multiple breeding pairs for pureblooded uzumaki, they will probably try to get Kushina married to a patriotic loyal Konoha shinobi that is a Hokage candidate, like Minato. In order to ensure the loyalty of jinchuuriki, bijuu are usually sealed into spouses or family members of kage, such as Mito, Killer B, Gaara, Naruto. So yeah, unnecessary relationship drama arc. The only people that will have the uzumaki wellbeing in mind is Mito and perhaps Tsunade.

Ame does not face the same issue as there is no jinchuuriki, and pureblood uzumaki is better, so they will likely be happy to induct them in as a clan and allow them to run themselves as long as they are loyal to Ame. And considering Uzu would be destroyed by this point, there is no reason for Hanzo to suspect mixed loyalty, especially when Ame doesn't back any major village, and hatred to the destroyers of their old village is a strong motivator for revenge as well as defending their new home.

Does Minato exist in this AU by the way? And has the Hiraishin been made by the Nidaime as per canon or is it uniquely Naruto's? I mean let's face it, the technique is simply Hiraishin in another name, and for some other similar copy to be around would detract from it being Naruto's trademark in the future. But without Hiraishin, Minato is a pretty boring shinobi too. I suppose some drama could happen with Minato if they end up in Konoha and Minato exists (vehement no to both of those) if Minato ended up crushing on Kushina. But relationship drama is tedious in my opinion.

Either way, good luck with the story. Will be keeping my eye on it!

great comeback after a long wait and you already left me wanting to read what will happen next as you installed several milestones such as naruto's commitment to kushina, the touch of the life of myth and the death of nawaki as a student of orochimaru and the Tsunade's suffering, but seeing that the training of Naruto's special squad I just hope that uzushiogakure survives the attack and they draw the conclusion that Konoha has betrayed them or that if they overbibe Naruto, Kushina and Masaki, they know that someone from Konoha is responsible for the fall of his house. I look forward to the next chapter.
