YES! I hope Bingley learns to become a man & not "smile too much" & starts "asking important questions" to the next pretty face he falls for. This will be his perfect lesson. Mr Bennet was so smart to ask Jane what she did & didn't like about him. Maybe she will keep this in mind when she meets a strong man she likes.

I am really enjoying the story so far :)
I know it is a bit early to guess, but I think that Jane will end up with Colonel Fitzwilliam and he is a second son and will need to marry someone with either an estate or a large dowry :P

So far, this has been a great story. I love it when people write about Jane like this. I hope that you continue this story and eventually publish it. I also hope that Jane will end up with Col. Fitzwilliam. I think that he is a much more determined suitor for Jane. As a military man, he knows what he wants and will not let anyone tell him otherwise.

Thank you for sharing this store. I have enjoyed reading it and I hope to read more in the future.

A nice estate like Longbourn and a sweet wife like Jane might be just what the Colonel needs. ;)

It's good that Bingley will finally do something about Caroline's interference. It would be great for Jane to rekindle her friendship with Sophia and to hopefully meet some nice men who are strong characters totally unlike Bingley who is so weak and naiive

Darcy won't know what hit him

lol! sometimes I forget what a self centered clueless prat Darcy is before Elizabeth knocks him back a notch! Loved the Fitzwilliam connection and wait with baited breath to see what happens with Jane and the Colonel... Yah!

Oh, how perfect! Lady Matlock herself will be helping Jane, and maybe matchmaking her with the Colonel! I'm loving it! Eat your heart out, wimpy Bingley! And I can't wait until Darcy finds out who his cousin is marrying. As the cherry on top, the Orange Menace will watch Jane being fetted by a Countess, while Darcy finally boots her out of his acquaintance.

I don't understand why Lizzy still seems to believe that Bingley loves Jane as if he did then he would have returned. I hope Jane meets lots of nice men in London who are much stronger characters than Mr Bingley.
good that the younger girls will be educated and that Mary will get some more attention and music lessons.

Finally catching up. I've enjoyed your story. Congratulations on taking the plunge into P&P fanfiction. I've posted other stories here, but haven't managed to finish my P&P story for posting.
