Oh, my. Poor Jim! Poor Bones! Poor everyone, really. I like the angle you've taken with this, especially because they didn't really touch on it in the movie. I mean sure, Kirk was sorry after what he said to Spock so he could save the world, and everyone was sad after Vulcan was destroyed, but no one really had time to deal with the emotional aftermath. Maybe I'm just biased because I love angst. Anyway, I love your writing style, and would like very much to read more of this!
