I'm not usually a fan of Daphne&Emmett. However the way you have written this is very well done. They aren't together right away but are getting there.

The ending of the TV series broke my heart. I'd have rather seen Bay strike out on her own than commit to a relationship with Travis. It hurt me so much that I thought I wanted to see Daphne pursue Emmett again, but now, I am confused.

Bay, Emmett, Daphne, Travis, all of it just feels like one big puddle of misery. Can you find a light for these characters?

Interesting chapter! I'm excited to see what might come next. It's so odd to me (both on the show and in your story) that Bay has moved on from Emmett, almost as if they never even shared a connection in the past.

Your story does for me what the writers of "Switched at Birth" could not do. It makes me excited about how this development will cause Bay & Travis and Daphne & Emmett to all interact with each other. I'd like to see Bay have at least a twinge of regret that Daphne is carrying Emmett's baby. I'm sure it was hard on Emmett to see Bay with Travis all of these years.

Does Emmett still have his depression? Or has he conquered that with medication and therapy?

I'm hoping Daphne will be committed to Emmett over Mingo and over any other man. I'm hoping Emmett will be just as loyal to Daphne, too.

I'm not sure how I want Bay and Travis to feel about this new development between Daphne and Emmett. Travis used to have a huge crush on Daphne, but he seemed to get over that when he started dating Mary Beth.

I don't know what to think about Bay. I never thought that she would choose Travis over Emmett. I don't know what is in Bay's heart anymore. Does she have feelings for Ty? For Emmett? For Travis?

Oh, I like this chapter a lot! It's fun to explore Daphne's inner turmoil. You've got me hooked. I'm hoping things will heat up in a romantic way between Daphne and Emmett. They've always been the best of friends. I'd like to see their relationship turn into a true love. Once upon a time, Emmett protected Daphne and put her first. I'd like to see that again. This situation will affect Bay and Travis, too. It will cause turmoil for their relationship, because Bay still has feelings for Emmett. For some reason, I keep imagining Bay overhearing a private conversation between Emmett and Mingo, and it making Bay feel heartsick that Emmett will never belong to her again. Whatever you have planned for us, I can't wait! Thank you for writing this story!
