Why are your plots so funny?!

Even though it's probably a dead fic, this is an incredibly interesting concept that I hope is continued to be played with or used in this particular fic, if it desires to be alive though.

imagine just, what's the reaction of the PCs just finding out that their friendly police officer (?) harry just disappears out of the blue and then they go for outrageous lengths to find him.

Very humorous tale! Love the bit about Vernon's hands burning when he tried to hurt Harry. That would be a very good reason whey he never beat Harry. I really do love the spin you put on everything. You have an excellent way of puzzling through JKR's works. Great job!
