Well, I must admit this is very different than what I originally thought it would be. I, myself, am writing a story about therapy sessions for a character desperately in need of them, so I really appreciate coming across someone else doing the same thing and putting such thought into it.

I don't know if I agree with your interpretation of Aerith, but you've done a great job in setting her up for this story, and your reasoning is solid, so kudos there. Most stories have Aerith being sheltered by Ifalna, in the fact that she cooperated with Hojo in exchange for him not touching her daughter, but I can't say I don't see him doing what he did in this either, so definitely valid, if it makes him even more disgusting than usual. Guess there's always (or at least almost always) another level of depravity. *shudder*

I'm heartbroken to see Shelke like this, though. I like Shelke. Seeing her like this is painful... but then, so is seeing Sephiroth like that.

I'm usually a ZackxAerith fan, but I appreciate your reasoning for not pairing them in this, even if I feel like it could still work without killing everyone. You do what's best for the story. I have a story in mind that I'd have a VERY hard time finishing because it pairs people that I don't necessarily like pairing, but it works for the story, you know? So, while I'm not usually an AerithxSephiroth shipper, I'm looking forward to seeing how this goes.

Also wondering how Sephiroth is going to explain to Aerith that he suddenly took on this blond kid as a student... that's a LITTLE too coincidental for her to not call foul, imo. Of course, they could explain that with her cells being used instead of Jenova's, they're able to bring in more people than they would have otherwise, including women... I mean, he can think it all he wants, but unless he explains that this kid wouldn't have made the cut had they still been using Jenova skills, she's going to catch onto the fact that Sephiroth overheard everything and... will not react well to that.

In any case, yeah, looking forward to more. :)

Something about the phrase "brood on the move" is really funny. It certainly is a good skill to have, though. Any competent edgelord should know a few tricks to maximize their brooding time without sacrificing too much else.

It's kind of surprising, but the big take away here for me was the relationship between Aerith and Elmyra. I love the way you portray them, especially Elmyra, a character I really hope we get to see more of in the remake.

Never got around to reviewing this chapter for some reason, but I can say yeah, I can definitely see it happening the way Aerith described here.

That's quite the contrast, going from a comedic interlude to something out of a horror movie.

There were a few things I was wondering about. When Aerith gets to First Class, have you given any thought to what her outfit will be (assuming anyone besides the trio can get away with that, it's a little gauge in that regard), what she'll name her weapon and what will her fan club call themselves (because first female First Class, that's practically a given)?

And I'm really looking forward to seeing her reaction to said fans.

Aerith can probably cast Life with just a little more training. If she revives Hojo over and over just to kill him again, everyone can have their turn.

I love this story, but I'm concerned that it'll permanently overtake the Calamity of Light series, which I like more, mostly because of Kairi. On that note, both your Aerith and your Kairi seem to have the same catchphrase: "I hate [thing/person], I really do." I guess neither of them is really built to hate, so they need the reminder.

well this was certainly more light hearted then I was expecting... almost to light hearted. Angeal seems far more playful then I would think him to be ( its really the ace reporter stuff, but also showing off them getting humiliated that does it), while not exactly bad, this whole chapters just feels a bit... off. maybe its that we have had so much dark that this feels Jarring, maybe its the characters acting just a bit to... Wacky, then I'm use to. what ever it is its certainly felt for much of this chapter.

still glad to see your FF stories getting more love again. not that I'm not enjoying your Siri story immensely, I guess I just got use to a wide variety of your stories updating, rather then just one. the curse of loving so many of your stories. even when I win I lose *overly dramatic sigh*.
